My comment to AMEX was made in the context that their system was totally screwed up and was not making for happy cardholders.
Both Starwood and Amex have lurkers on this thread. My comments have not provided them with any more information than the constant bragging about gaming the system that appears on this and most other flyer talk credit card bonus treads.

I received the bonus just after my first statement, but I was targeted. I wonder if being targeted has anything to do with this problem?

Would anyone have copies of the 30k promo?
Met the minimum spend in the first couple of days, more than 12 weeks ago but no points yet. I called today and the representative told me that there were no bonus points for my personal card but if I could send her the promotion information they would honor that.
Would anyone have a copy of the 30k promotion for Business and/or Personal?
I know, I learned the hard way that I should keep copies until all the points are posted

I called and they said I have to wait 12 weeks from when the first statement closed after meeting the spending amount. If I don't receive it then, they can set up an inquiry

I've emailed a couple times. First I was told to wait the full # weeks after my $1,000 was met. When that date came and went, I emailed again. I'm now being told the marketing dept. is looking into it! It would be nice to cross this off the "to do list"!

GF got points a couple days after hitting 1000 I am now over twelve weeks and they placed a inquire into it and they will get back to me I called a mth ago and the CSR stated I was entitled to promo just have to wait 12 weeks. If its in the system I should get the points why cant they just post the damm points and not have a inquiry.

I applied for my card in June and completed my $1000 spend in July. My points haven't shown up either. I called last month and they said they should definitely post this billing cycle, which would be past 12 weeks. Just checked my October 20th bill, and still no points. Representative now set up an investigation...hopefully everything will work out for all of us getting these "investigations."

The funny thing about this whole thing is the csr are like I see we do have your promotion correctly in your name. Why can't you add the points in my name miss XXXXXXX I am not allowed we must open an inquirey ... What a line of Sxxx.

My wife signed up for this offer on July 29, spent $1500 before the first statement in Sept, and no points posted. SPG said wait a month, still no points.
SPG transfered me over to Amex and they now claim there is no promo on her account, not even the base 10k offer.
I cited two Q codes found on FT, and the rep said those were only valid from June 30-July 6.
Has anyone who signed up late July received points? Do we have an offer code to provide Amex to look for this?

I signed up July 2nd. I have correspondence with Amex that I qualify for the promo and that I should wait 12 weeks from my spend date (7/24). They told me to wait until a specific date, 10/24. I waited until today (10/25) to send another correspondence to Amex and also politely informed them that I have not received my points. I also pointed out that 7/24 to 10/24 is actually 13 weeks.

both spouse & i received 2nd set of bonus points today. I got 40 on biz, he got only 30 on biz. both got 30 on pers. Applied after the 6th!!!
