You can use any rate you can find, like the rate offered through the Sixt US website or Happy Digits. Just don't start the online booking with entering your Platinum number first but enter it at the end of the booking process.

You will receive your Plat credentials and 2000 M&M miles under the "rent abroad" promotion if you are US based as your profile suggests. Plat is still there, don't worry. They just stopped advertising it, like they never did for DIAMOND.

Could you be a bit more precisely, please? Which rate do you mean? My SEN-rate (loyalty 3) shows still the increased prices.

I was referring to the rates if I do not log in.

Before, it was Platinum that was cheaper.

A few months ago, Sixt increased the regular rates and the Platinum rates, although Platinum was a little bit cheaper.

Now, Sixt has lowered the regular rates, but not the Platinum rates.

That was what I was referring to.

Also, I cannot get M&M - I am not with LH.

Sixt doesnt really lower the regular rates: the rates not logged in depend on the city and the day. it is very likely that during the summer the prices are going down, because availability of cars is greater as business people have vacation. these prices depent on availability.
All the other rates such as platin/diamond and LH Loyalty3/4 are fixed rates and wont change depending on availability of cars.

But again: I just checked you reservations for the upcoming month and so far everything is fine for me. Maybe I am just in luck here.

confused!

In Europe, do any of the car rental companies offer free days? It seems like loyalty programs are more focused on large discounts than on free rental days...thanks for any help

Lightbulb EB offer 1500 extra points for car rental more than 3 days

As I usually get 500 LH miles plus 500 HH points, Im now using the EB offer for 1500 extra points for car rentals more than 3 days, valid till end of July.
If anybody knows better deals please share!

Yokdoc, see post #181 by ulev above - if you rent outside of the country you live in, you can earn 2000 LH miles for renting with Sixt.

HONs earn 4k LH miles, I think.

I get a Sixt car u/g for you any day you like.

BTW, didn't know that's the way you handle presents.

But I do know of course we are headed for a discussion about birthday presents again. I guess I retreat back to my Thai hinterland job immediately. Not enough bandwidth available out there for pervert activities like posting on FT.
