My flight is also on Thursday and just jumped to 1600... At this point, I mentally gave up on an upgrade. 5 seats are taken, the rest still show as free.
I opened an Expert Flyer account just as curiosity. The flight shows the same reserved seat number as trying to book a flight through SAS, with the difference that all other "free" business seats are "Premium + Paid", which I don't really understand what it means, but they don't seem to be technically taken, as they would show on a different category if they were. |

Unless having a connecting flight passport you wont make it though in CPH or OSL, only ARN allows you to get to departure area after passport control without a boarding pass.

CPH allows this as well. Just follow the route for connections, and let them know you need to use the lounge.
I recently arrived from Turkey at CPH but did not really notice the options since I headed straight to baggage claim. We got one of the first gates in C and there is massive construction going on. Schengen entry was painful because we arrived after an Air India flight. I guess that "unclean" countries arrive in C whereas clean ones get E gates these days? |

Also, if you arrive from the US or UK then there is nothing stopping you from getting to the lounge area since there is no security. Japan is not on the list of "clean" countries yet? That's ridiculous. I lived there until 2014 and airports like MUC and CPH had started to route US and UK arrivals without security. And FRA unless you got a bus gate.

I think Japan is clean, but it has been a while since I arrived direct from Japan. Thank you SK for only flying on blue moons for a long while. |

C does both clean and unclean. I am not sure about E.

Japan is clean. Also funnily CAI is coming as clean. No idea how Denmark is making up their list.

Flying out of ATL to CPH tomorrow evening. Put in my upgrade bid from Plus to Business a month ago. I have a strong bid but still haven't received an email. Do I need to go ahead and check in or can I wait till I receive the email?
|
$340 minimum bid accepted for 2 about 24 hours pre-flight CPH-IAD on 9/1. Plus to business. Minimum
bid had gone up to $450 but we stuck it out. |
Booked a GO Light ticket and these are the upgrade prices currently. Considering the return but would ideally love for the outbound flight to drop since it's overnight. $570 still feels steep considering how cheap the GO Light ticket was.
SFO - CPH Plus $360, Business $760 CPH-SFO Plus $220, Business $570 |
Is 50000 points enough?
I’m trying to get an upgrade on a flight ARN-EWR in November (already in business homebound). Do you think 50 000 points is enough? It says “strong” on the site but I wanted to ask you guys anyway, since you’re the experts ☺️

Last time I checked a gate upgrade from Economy to Business was 50'000 points ;) |

50'000 points is quite overkill imho. ;) That's what I paid for a fixed point-price upgrade from Economy to Business on EWR-OSL!
How much do you recommend for a reasonable bid? And if it doesn’t go through - can I buy an upgrade with points at gate if there’s seats available? |
