Not a matter of a "fingerprint" left on your device, or a cookie, they are controlling it from your logged in account on their side. When it kicks in, you can click on current or old survey links until you're blue in the face, generally it "ain't goin' happen". And they obviously are not goin' communicate as to what their specific policy is...
I can do surveys perfectly ok from one device, and not at all (no survey available) from another. How can you explain this?

It's pretty obvious that they do both. I've accidentally clicked on links when overseas and then had the site refuse to let me do any other surveys until I cleared their cookies, so that clearly do set cookies on your device that affect future surveys.

Anyone else getting a "Travel and Tourism" study for $4.50 that already has your name and address pre-populated? The first screen asks me to verify it all and to enter my city (not determinable from the Zip Code, which includes two cities).

I considered putting in fake info but figured I might get my account terminated if caught. I am NOT comfortable with providing my name and address even before I know if I qualify for a survey so I closed it down. And yet....they keep trying to send it again, maybe 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Maybe I'm over-reacting given that I've handed over enough bits of my privacy shred by shred, over the last decade for a god AI application to find and describe me.

I feel like the surveys on this platform get worse every month. I've probably been using e-rewards for 5 years, perhaps as long as ten.

It is very hard to qualify for surveys. Also, it seems that many surveys are on a timer, so even if you thoughtfully answer each question, you get DQ'ed at the very end because you didn't do it slow enough.

Counter-point: I hadn't used Erewards in a while and finally decided to get back into it. I've been able to rack up quite a bit fairly quickly. Not sure if it has anything to do with ignoring it for the past couple months, but no complaints here about survey availability or qualification.

I have had a similar experience. After about a 6-month break, I decided to give e-rewards another try and am racking up about 2,000 points a week with minimal effort.

Do you mean to say that youre giving actual personal data to erewards because you fear that you might not earn a few dollars worth of points or miles? Of course its your own trip, but still...

Well this is new! I just had 2 surveys this morning that I went through completely, and at the end it said I didn't qualify and I only got the 0.25 credit. I emailed E-rewards and already got a response. Apparently I was flagged for "speeding" which means they think I didn't take the survey seriously. I did read every question, but many of these things are so repetitive, you can fly right through them. The response included these screenshots - kinda cool to see what metrics they are recording.

Guess next time I'll take a couple bathroom breaks in between questions to slow myself down

No, I actually X-ed out of the survey. They've finally quit showing it to me after I closed it out on multiple occasions.

I wonder how often that's happened to me, too. I'm retired and live alone so when they ask, "Do you or anyone in your household work in any of the following industries.." the answer is "No". I don't even need to read the list. I'm a fast reader in general and, as you said, many of the screening questions are pretty standard. I've been doing pretty well racking up points but will make a conscious effort to slow down when replying to surveys.

One easy way to slow down is simply to multi-task. Have other windows (and/or devices) open and be doing other things while taking surveys. If you switch your attention back and forth, that can help set the pace appropriately.

On the other hand, if you are TOO slow, that can disqualify you as well.

Ironic. In the 3 days since I posted this, I have not been able to enter a single survey.

I tell the truth for all surveys except for questions about home security systems.

Yes, on many other accounts as well. Seems to be an AwardWallet thing. Funniest was when this warning popped up saying "this password appears in that database 1 time" and continues with the warning.

Just ignore it.

Thanks for the feedback. I also noticed it on my other accounts too. Just a precaution from AwardWallet I guess.
