I first saw this thread about a week after I closed my e-rewards account. I was hardly getting any surveys and when I did it was for $5-$10 if I qualified. My problem was that when I did get these surveys, I would be going through answering questions on the survey for 15-20 mins. and then get the msg that I didn't qualify. I felt like they were actually getting me to take the survey right down to household income and race and then saying that I didn't qualify for the survey..I told them this when they ask why I was leaving the program but I never got a response. I wonder if others were experiencing this same problem and had began to get out of the program, prompting them to come up with this offer.

Not likely. The offer seems to be targeted, and seems to be related to the exit of American Airlines AAdvantage from the e-rewards program. This issue has already been heavily discussed in this thread.

eRewards takes much effort to babysit them.

I have received two $25 bonus's but had to email them multiple times to get them to post. When I inquired about the second one not posting, I was told that my account was valid from some date in May not the April 20'ish date. I sent them a note back with a cut/paste from my account login screen showing April.

Their response was that they would investigate. About 10 days (and zero erewards earned) later, the second $25 posted.

No followup email or anything.

Lotsa work to keep them honest.

It's been 4 months and I still haven't received my Double Rewards, despite the emailing back and forth...

Well, I finally got my double credit. I'd contacted them on 14 June about the missing credit. They said they were working on it. I contacted them again about 5 weeks later, and got the same response. Finally on 14 Sept I contacted them again, and politely but firmly noted that other people were getting their problem solved on this issue, and that it shouldn't take 3 months to look at my account and see that I was missing the double reward. And 'lo and behold, they credited my account in a single shot: $325. So now I'm up to date (although I recently passed another $25 level, so soon another bonus will be due). I have to say, it shouldn't have taken this long, but in the end they got the job done. tls

I think I'm in the erewards doghouse for some reason, how can I get out? I had been getting a steady stream of a few surveys a week. I have received no survey's over the past 5 or so weeks.

I too had been emailing erewards about every 30-40 days since June about my $50 credit and had received the "we're working on it" replies.

However, I followed in lostshark's footsteps (thanks) and politely, but firmly advised that others were getting credit. I received my credit in less than 24 hours.

Good luck and happy emailing!

Hang in there. I have been e-mailing since June, because I had not receive any of my Double Rewards.

My first set of Double Rewards finally posted today:

"09/25/2008 2nd Round of Member Credits e-Rewards Bonus $125.00"

I'm in the doghouse too. I've been a member since 2001. Haven't received any communication from them since July 7. In another week it will be 3 months and not a even a 5 cent email to open. What did I do wrong?

If they think that you are selling awards, or doing anything against the rules, they will put your account on hold. And they will not notify you. You can stay in limbo forever.

Back to the proper topic of this thread, I'm in the middle of trying to get my latest $50 worth of double rewards posted. I sent a customer service message on the website, they (eventually) answered back acknowledging that I had indeed earned the $50 and that it was going to post, then I got another e-mail message claiming my bonus rewards had been posted. I looked at my account and they had posted.... $25. OK, better than nothing, I guess.

So I e-mailed a response to their last e-mail, explaining that I was due $50, not $25. No response from them yet.

I assume I am a member in good standing since my double bonuses -- two 25 dollar rewards -- posted automatically and promply. I spent them before my year-end July 31. but then the mails and surveys stopped coming. As I said in my other post, its been almost 4 months now. This is an all time record of waiting since I started e-rewards. I am curious to know how many surveys you receive once your double reward bonuses are posted

Still Waiting Too

Have sent several e-mails and gotten the "scripted" response of "we're working on it"... I really wonder if it's ever going to come through.
But I've noticed that I haven't gotten one survey for several months. Just thought that things were going slow over the summer. Also notice on two accounts there's a "pinnochio" icon. I know that on alot of surveys in June we finished doing the surveys and afterwards only got $1 for opening them up instead of the full amounts (in the $10-20 range).
Several family members used to get a few surveys a week and now it's nothing ever since they requested rewards. Also found the same thing happening after being "upgraded" as a valued member where balance would be rolled-over.
Makes me wonder what's going on.

Between July and now, I've been receiving quite a few survey invites and my double reward finally posted in Sept, 2008. I had to email them tons of times to get my double reward posted though.

Please allow me to repeat myself as well:

But how often and how many survey invites you receive is very much case-by-case. I don't how one's answer would help the others, given differences in demographics, profiles and all.

Anyway, this is the thread folks are sharing how often they receive survey from e-Rewards: New to e-rewards, have a question

Last time I check, this thread is about "double rewards" from e-Rewards.
