Has anyone been receiving their double points lately?

Also, has anyone been receiving surveys lately? Both my wife and I have been on a dry spell for some time.

Not at all - as a matter of fact, they are claiming that my account was never eligible for the offer to begin with - and it was a mistake that it was listed on my account page. I've been trading emails with them for over a month, with the latest from them saying that they have agreed it was their mistake, and they are "manually adding the offer to the account."

I haven't received a double bonus is over 4 months, and I'm due approx $350 in bonuses. Oh well

As stated earlier, the last and ONLY double rewards posting was a manual adjustment in late September, which happened after a 3-month long correspondences with e-Rewards. I was also told my account had finally been added to the system.

Ever since then, I've accumulated 3 more "units." I kind of exchange email with the same CSR every month. I recently contacted them about my rewards still not posting automatically. The last reply I got in November was it's coming but they can't promise when (please see the exact canned quote they've been sending me in post #213).

I am shooting off another email ans see if our dear CSR Adrian will say anything different this time.

The same thing happened to my husband. He received the offer and it was listed on his account page for awhile. I know it really pi**ed me off that my account didn't get the same offer. He's never received the double points and when he e-mailed them about it, they said he wasn't eligible. Asked that we send the e-mail offer. I couldn't find it in his deleted folder, so just gave up.

Maybe I should pursue again. Did you have an original e-mail from them offering the double points?

An update. A $375 bonus was posted to my account on Friday. No email, no notification - and the only reason I even new it was there was because I received a survey invite, and clicked on account afterwards. About 5 weeks from soup to nuts for communication with "Adrian". Guess I'll stick with it now

WOW!! nice bonus. I could use one of them. I feel like they forget to credit my account sometimes. I would love to see one of these show up.

2nd Manual Adjustment Posted

Another update:

After two more email (12/4 & 12/17) to Adrian, my 2nd wave of double rewards (earned between October 11th & December 2nd) finally posted today:

12/18/08: "News Regarding American Airlines(R)."

This promo is quickly approaching the end. I am very close to another $25 bonus, if I'll received and qualify for survey in the next 2 weeks. I won't count on it but at least am relieved that my double rewards are current as of today.

Wish e-Rewards had executed this special offer more gracefully without us fighting for the credits.

I've been reading this thread and my eyes are getting blurry but I wanted to ask you pros - what exactly do you do with the credits you earn on e-Rewards?

I've been doing surveys for years (didn't get the bonus offer and anything else much for that matter, and no gift card options), but since I retired the surveys are few and far between. However I always had a problem finding something to use the credits on anyway - most of the offers for discounts are bogus (you get things cheaper on the product website than using the discount link provided) except for maybe FTD and Blockbuster :-) And now I realize it's great for Hilton Honors points.

But some of you are talking $700+ and I'm wondering what you do with it.

Have started utilizing the points for Target and Macy's certificates as well as HHonors.

I was using it for Macy's gift cards - and now I'm using it for bmi miles as there are very few other non-flight/hotel/car opportunities to accumulate them otherwise and the program is very good - but is possibly in transition with Lufthansa acquiring bmi.

I'm wondering if there are different rewards available (shown) depending on your status with eRewards? The only gift card I see is a $10 one for Macy's. Someone mentioned using the $$ for Target gift cards - Target isn't even on the list of reward partners I get.

It's not about your status. (Not even sure what you meant about "status with e-Reward").

1. Your redemption options depend on the sponsors to your accounts just search for other e-Rewards threads on e-Miles, Delta, NW).

2. The GC choices (Macy's and Target) are a special offer. I believe it's targeted as well. About the same time when the double reward email/banner showed up. Read earlier on in this thread you'll find the discussion posts.

Over the years I've been an e-Rewards member, they sometimes have certain item out of stock. If you have GC choices, it might just Target's out-of-stock. I recall quite a few FTers picking Target GCs.

Double Reward Promo Ended on 12/15/08

This promo is quickly approaching the end. I am very close to another $25 bonus, if I'll received and qualify for survey in the next 2 weeks.
I was checking my account history and realized a $12 credit from November didn't post. I emailed e-Rewards a couple of days ago and let them know this missing credit, which should have pushed my earning over another $25 marker.

Today I got a reply from Adrian. My account had been adjusted according to my updated earning history. The promo actually had ended on 12/15/08. I misspoke in my earlier post, thinking the promo was good till the year's end.

Glad I got my missing $12 credit and made the last $25 increment. As of today, all my double rewards are posted and current. For those of you who are still waiting for your overdue double credits, you may want to double check your accounts. The manual adjustment may have happened during the last couple days.

I guess it's e-Rewards' way of saying "Happy Holidays" to us.

I just meant I thought there might be different levels that received different offers based on how many e-Reward dollars you have - I'm normally at about $150, so thought folks who get $300 might get different offers.

I never check the website unless I'm cashing in for something - maybe I should check it more often :-)
