I can't remember the last time I saw regular fresca; its always the peach or black cherry and my kids and I both hate those but love the regular fresca
I haven't seen regular fresca in a couple years |
Quote:
Both SAFEWAY stores in RESTON and those in the surrounding area nearby should career it as well as any Albertson's or [B]Fred Meyer's[/B or other [B](Kroger)-owned stores have it... Harris Tweeter ? CALL the store before you go and ASK? |
Fresca question answered &
calling " Trojan Horse " ...
and everyone who likes the Original Citrus FRESCA, but can't seem to "find it" at the grocery chain when shopping: -------------------------------------------------------------------- You SHOULD be able to find it near or close to all the rest of the bottled and 12-can fridge packs of Coca-Cola product... the Fresca 12 can fridge pack of Original is in BLUE packaging... the Fresca 12 can fridge pack of Peach is in PINK packaging... the Fresca 12 can fridge pack of Black-Cherry is in a deep Magenta/PURPLE packaging... and Fresca can be bouight using the 200 point Coke MCR Buy One- Get 1 Free 12 pack - Coke MCR reward coupons... But if you rush and look too quickly at the shelves, they all may look alike because of the logos etc... OT, simply they may be out of stock until thne next day that the Coca-Cola driver replenishes the shelves... Generally you might find only a half-dozen (6) of each because, needless to say retail light-of-sight shelf space in the large grocery chain supermarkets we all all so used to, is PAID FOR BY THE VENDORS / MANUFACTURERS ... so space is limited... also, on the chance that you can't find it (because someone may have bought it up before you got there later on) ... ASK the store courtesy clerk to check the backroom / receiving stock area as there is often much left there for the driver to replenish from the next day... I'm not going to tell y'all the YEAR that the original Fresca was first marketed ... nor the YEAR when Coca-Cola chose to take the "REAL-REAL THING" out of Coke and substitute Cinnamon AND... to give it that "old-fashioned" fizzy-taste from the original pharmacy-non-prescription...:D BTW, any of y'all ever drink MOXIE or even drink BOLT ???? ---------------------------- On May 8, 1886, Dr. John S. Pemberton invents the soft drink Coca-Cola in the United States: it goes on sale in Atlanta, Georgia as “the intellectual beverage and temperance drink,” and is claimed to be a cure for headaches and dyspepsia. |

PC opoints? Still there ? How much is left ?
Quote:
of EVERY Fresca box fool you again.... you've got to physically pick up the package and look at the wording on the FRONT of package and it will say ORIGINAL or PEACH or BLACK-CHERRY but the tail-end of the packages colors for the specific product is correct as I've described it... How are you and for that matter EVERYONE doing with collecting MCR rewards? especially how is PC points going these days? I wonder how much INVENTORY of PC POINTS is left? Anyone "in-the-know" ? or does "anyone" care to give your best 'guess' ? |
MCR PointsPlus
It appears that MCR is now offering Dollars+Points options on an affiliated site. I noticed that they are offering travel options such as hotels and rental cars in addition to a variety of products.
At this point, I haven't checked to see if the hotel prices listed are competitive or not, but this may be a way of salvaging some value out of a program that has been gutted over time. |
No salvation in MCR PLUS scalping program
Quote:
I've looked at it and for me it's far far cheaper to pay the hotel bill myself than mess around with this "MCR PLUS" hocus-pokus, but, to each his (or her) own nightmare of wasting time and applying MCR points etc., with their very limited hotel choices ... Better to use your hotel loyalty club membership points and or credit card points etc - - than have to pay X dollars + MCR points -- I guess Coke is learning Delta-Skymiles 'screw-'em' lessons... |
This is now garbage. Just junk. I've already maxed out on two accounts for the week. Looking at the updated website, about the only thing I'm remotely interested in is the Priority Rewards and the free 20oz soda coupons.
So very disappointing and now a true waste of my time. I'm sticking to Mountain Dew. |
Safeway Northern VA
Pepsi $2.49 ea (must buy five) Coke $4.99 ea (no min) geez guess which deal I took I looked and the Fresca's were there (original), that packaging needs to be changed though, its too difficult to discern at a quick glance I didn't buy the Fresca though, the price was just not competitive |
Crap Rewards was caused by the cheating "gamers"
Quote:
According to the Coke MCR rules, you're only allowed ONE account (unless the other one is one of the allowable accounts for members of the SAME HOUSEHOLD at the SAME RESIDENCE).... But I'm sure Coke MCR is well aware of all the different kinds of schemes and combination / ways to cheat to "game" their system, and thus dropped all the really good and expensive stuff as well as limit point input to a weekly limit per account as well as limit access to quantity of specific items by placing limits on both time and quantity... So, in effect, 'those who cheat' have in effect brought the downsizing of awards and time / quantity limitations upon themselves as well as sadly, upon the majority of others who don't scheme, game the system or otherwise cheat. ----------------------- Stick to Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper and or Pepsi. They ALL have caught-on and did the SAME downsizing as Coke's MCR group have done. |
Sorry you missed last week's Snakeway Coke/Fresca etc deal
Quote:
or Buy 5+ and price = $2.49 That's Snakeway's 2nd time in 2 months they had that promo. You could use the MCR $1.00 off coupon or the Buy1 Get 1 coupon for your ORIGINAL Fresca... or snap it all up next time this deal or similar comes around again .... TrojanHorse, YHPM |
RED Alert! Coke Product bottle-tops and 12/24/32 can packaging changing!
[rant on]
RED Alert ! ! ! Coca-Cola Product and Diet Coca-Cola packaging is changing to REGULAR packaging with NO myCokeReward Codes  so Sports-Fans, you'd better keep a sharp eye out when shopping BEFORE you get to the grocery register. The 24 and 32 pack codes are supposed to be in the MIDDLE of the top of the package so you actually HAVE TO PICK IT UP to be sure that you're getting the 20-point, or 25-point code(s). Bottles: Be sure the Coke product logo is present BEFORE you buy. Especially watch the Nestea, and Dasani products. There are NO codes on the 12 pack Nestea cans; watch the Dasani 12 pack package ends to make sure the MCR logo is printed on it. As for the dasani water, it's hard to discern because the code is printed inside the bottom wrapper in the grey square area ... so on this item you can't really tell if a MCR code is present or not... All different Coke, Diet Coke, Flavored and other Coke product like Fanta, Barq, Mr. Pibb, and Fresca etc should have the tail end MCR logo printed on the packing -- otherwise you've got a BLANK and no free MCR 10-point codes inside... PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE that the end of the MCR program this year is: November 30, 2009 with all redemptions (for leftover items) needing to be done by December 31, 2009 . With the prize and rewards selections, its very doubtful that the MCR program as we're used to, will be in existence in 2010, as most major soda-water promos Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Pepsi move more to "sweepstakes" point-entries, and the really great-stuff odds of winning set a tough almost impossible lottery levels... Don't wait for airmile redemption codes or other USEFUL travel stuff to magically reappear -- it's NOT going to happen. Coke promotions feel they are doing us a favor with the new MCR PLUS program of point + $ :p (You all can do much, much better on your own). [rant off] |

Donuts+ have holes in the center of their head
Quote:
What are you going to do now that there's no more airmiles left and the PC points are about to be diminshed to zero . . . ? Oh wait, there's B1G1 12 pack coupons and blockbuster rent 1 -Get 1 coupons available ... but they're not travel-related items  So, Gee, Donut-Man, I guess you'll have to settle on kiddie junk or go point-bust when the program ends November 30 . . . . :D |
