Same here, hitting the 10cap/day limit.

Time-of-day for limit rollovers might have changed, type/value of limit does not appear to have changed.

TrojanHorse Feb 16, 2009 4:04 am

I'm with Dhacker; I don't see why any of these changes would lead anyone to believe that the PC 500 pointers process has changed?

regarding workarounds

please correct me if I'm wrong BB but wouldn't the workarounds be more beneficial for smaller priced items than larger ones (unless one has an infinite limit of MCR codes to input)? If one has an infinite number of codes (and time LOL) than yes I can see your point but for most people its the smaller items that it would benefit from

.../ a Kick in the Pants by Coke We Get...

A horse is a horse and ... oh, wrong horse... hi there Trojan Horse, I thought it was Mr. Ed time... j/k

you and I and the lampost and (porobably at least a dozen other FTers,
if not a hundred or two...) KNOW there are certain individuals who
THINK they are 'clever' (to use a friendly' word) in manipulating the
system by unfairly gaming it at every opportunity... incorrectly thinking
that they're 'getting one over' on the manufacturers or in this case,
Coke execs, Coke marketing execs, and their promotions people... when
actually they are only screwing themselves and others BECAUSE for all
their sneaky efforts, EVERY POSSIBLE COMBINATION OF SCHEMING has
been taken into account with their new decisions to tighten things up
by totally eliminating the expensive items that used to be available as
rewards... and they are well aware that MANY MCR 'participants' may
not necessarily be consumers BUYING product, but collecting points by
'other means' ... thus they are aware that allowing the POSSIBILITY to
enter 120 points in one sitting or spread out over a week... THOSE
'smaller prizes aka rewards' such as PC points for 156 MCR points WILL
go much faster... AND thus eliminated quicker than usual, despite
the restriction of 2 per 30 day period... I'm sure that Coke management is
aware of those individuals having multiple MCR accounts -- and simply want
everything gone as quick as possible to give them cause sufficient to
TERMINATE the program, as disclaimers are in place that emphasize
while supplies of -- last....

In this economy the old 'entitlement loyalty programs' are fast becoming
a thing of the past and it makes better business sense to move to
a 'Sweepstakes' format, or toss a bone or two by giving out a limited
supply of advertisement items like Tee shirts, Hats and the like or
product coupons and eliminate high-end expensive items, or items
like airmailes and or travel points they have to pay big-money for.

10code/day limit appears still in place, as of Mon 12:08pm EST.

TrojanHorse Feb 16, 2009 10:24 am

I was just coming on to see if the 120 weekly input rule was in effect yet???

Boston_Bulldog Feb 16, 2009 11:29 am

Hi, Trojan Horse, buddy...

Well, everybody I guess because today is Presidential fart day the 120 point rule aka enter all the codes you want up to 120 points per week is NOT in effect as of yet . . .

maybe AFTER midnight tonight ?...

So, if you lucky ones have those 10's, 20's, 25's and 32's pointers hanging around TODAY would be a good time to post up to 100, or 200, or 250, or even 320 point maximum -- ie, up to TEN (10) codes only...

...the system will NOT accept more than 10 codes, no matter what value...

Not for long.

I just booked it and got you BUMPED to the last row in Cattle-Car...:D

just teasing...

Anyhow back to topic... MCR caps / codes etc

I tried to call Coke MCR to find out why Safeway is no longer honoring the MyCokeRewards.com MCR reward BUY ONE - GET 1 FREE 12 pack coupons but today is a holiday ... so no answer yet... I thought these slaves
were robots chained to their chairs and give stupid BS scripted answers 24/7
365 days a year and only allowed an hour for chair=brake oil breaks. . .
(see how snary sarcastic I can be) ...

Maybe it has something to do with Snakeway not wanting us to use the coupons anymore with Coke sale-events...

Comments?

Boston_Bulldog Feb 16, 2009 8:31 pm
