I take it that was an email from MCR to you?

what about the small business guy who buys costco products and gets the 25 pointers and sells the cans? is he not allowed to redeem either or should he be buying pepsi products for his small business

Correct that this is MCR's response/position. "Who's cheating?" - Hmmm, anyone able to collect and input more than 120-points per week. While not stated outright, I read their position as If you don't buy it, you shouldn't be able to collect.
Those of us (I also have a large "snack/soda" fund at work and get access to the 25-pointers) who do not personnally consume ALL the drinks, should not be allowed to claim the related rewards." They have obviously set a maximum limit on points based on their maximum estimate of Coke products we can consume. I don't agree but I don't run the program. As I see it, as long as someone is purchasing Coke products why can't they (or I) donate codes to someone else.
Best I remember, there wasn't a requirement to provide proof of consumption to claim the prizes. What's next, "provide original proof of purchase receipt..." Sorry, I offered yet another way to further curtail rewards.

...!

IT WAS A JOKE! I agree with YOU! I am the fool picking up caps after ball games and other places.

Needless to say I am done. I can drink water!!! :)

Want to post those direct URLs here, for those of us too lazy to find them through other means? :)

Don't forget the fresh list of PC's Pointbreaks

I think I'm going to stay out of the discussion about how we should or should not collect points. I'm just going to bask in the glow of being able to redeem for Priority Club points again.

Check out the latest Priority Club's Pointbreaks list that just came out on Feb 5 (see link) - good until 5/31, book early for best availaibility. The list is rather mediocre this time judging by high standards of PC forum members. Although you might not be able to bask in the sun, there are some decent locations, esp in Asia, that might suit one's needs.

Great post; thanks for the reminder to check the PC PB list

there is one on there that I just ruined a pair of pants on and I was able to get 3 nights at 5K each.. big savings for me ^

Anybody tried the $50 hotel gift card under "travel"? You need a 2-night minimum. (They shouldn't really call it a gift card when it has restrictions like that . . . real gift cards don't have such things.)

This is what I've been told works:

Load the authentication cookie:

secure.mycokerewards.com/ssldocs/login.do?emailAddress=[email protected]&passwordText=password

In a new window, of the same pid, enter codes:

secure.mycokerewards.com/ssldocs/redeemCode.do?utcCode=code

Appears MCR is having random back-end server issues. This XML message is appearing:

Error during the invocation of the business service.

Just a head's-up, if the interface doesn't work as expected.

AeroDD Feb 9, 2009 1:39 pm

Thanks sbagdon. I just tried the direct URL trick you posted and it worked great.

Now, I just need to review the XML returned to see if there's anything of interest getting passed back and forth.

Looks like more devaluation.....:td:

Got this as an email:

You know that at My Coke Rewards, we love giving you more of what you want. And February 17th is one of those "give-more" moments. We're changing all rewards to be under 2000 points — making it easier than ever for you to get rewarded.

But before that happens, we want to thank you for drinking Coca-Cola® and being one of our most valuable members (you've got the points to prove it). So we're giving you special access to exclusive high-point value rewards.

From now until February 16th grab limited-time 2000+ points items like travel gear, appliances, electronics and more of the things that bring a smile to your face. Get them while they last!*
