I'm sure that the "new" premiums are just going to be retreads of the stuff to which we've been turning our noses up.

I guess I'll print some coke coupons before that's gone, too.

I go along with what ms burton just said

maybe the free coke is the last of the worthwhile items

this program seems to be having the opposite effect of getting me to buy coke, it is irritating me where I don't want any more to do with coke more than anything

I went on this morning and PriorityClub was still showing as a sponser, maybe there is hope that they will bring it back. It seems that they are going more towards sweepstakes instead of prizes, with there "February Prize Explosion" is nothing but sweepstakes.

RUN! Do NOT Walk -- Enter Codes Now & Grab Grab Grab

I've been sitting on many of these for months, but I'm inclined to enter all of them but a few spares before this new "enhancement" takes place. Under the new rules, one will only be able to enter three 20-point codes if they were to ever double them in the future.

ENTER NOW & GRAB UP WHATEVER YOU CAN

Looks Like Coke is ready to just about scrap the program by not putting anything new worth more than $50 up as rewards.

All HH points -- All PC points -- All DL Skymiles are now GONE
and NEVER to be seen again ....

Somebody screwed things up Was it Coke or was it YOU

NO CHANCE I'm told

The PC voucher codes CAN be traced back to the ISP's & MCR account(s)
they came from... guess they finally caught up with the fact that a bunch have been gaming the system with multiple MCR accounts to circumvent the 2 500 PC points only per month rule... so now they have been discontinued as a reward...

Let's hope they may relent but don't count on it.

There's a bunch of "sponsor" ads that show up. Doesn't mean a damn thing.
Case in point, Delta Airlines is a "coke partner / sponsor" -- WHEN was the last time you saw MCR redemption codes available to be redeemed for Delta Skymiles?

Likewise Hilton Group, and Hilton Points.

RED ALERT! WARNING -- re: Coke-12 pack & Blockbuster Restrictions

There is now a restriction in place for BLOCKBUSTER rewards.
Limiting quantities per MCR account.

Coke 12 pack Buy1-get 1 are still available -- BUT quantity left is limited.

IF you want either of them RUN! before they are gone, too....

Guess they figured too many knew how to game the system...

Anyone know if there's a limit on the $1off-12pack coupon?

In response to the above I just logged into my MCR acct., where I had PC points as my 1 & only Favorite. Now it says "You have no favorites!" :td:
Gee, I just found 100 points at the recycling center today, which would have allowed me to redeem another 500 PC on Feb. 10.

When is MCR going to surrender to the reality that most adults have more desire for Holiday Inn rooms & airline tickets than for Coke-logo toys??

Boston_Bulldog Feb 1, 2009 5:36 pm

Told you so

I've been saying over and over that we need to write and call Coke and Coke MCR customer service to complain, but everyone is lackadasical, a coward, or outright too damn lazy to do so . . . now you've got the results for NOT doing so.

doesn't take a genius to figure out how to game this system

it was developed by idiots
it is run by idiots
and now its left for us idiots to whine about :D

if coke really cared about people messing around their controls, theycould easily just make it per frequent traveler account but they are just using this ebay crap etc as an excuse

jessej Feb 1, 2009 6:32 pm

i'm just about thru

i went to the grocery store this am

i walked down the soda aisle
i intentionally didnt buy coke, and it wasnt on sale anyway

i'm sure a number of ft'ers feel the same
and that probably less than 1 millionth of 1 per cent of all coke users

i've got points sitting, that i cant use for another 30 days
hopefully the pc points are back in stock

if not i will give my points to my elementary school
and be done

after this stunt by coke, it has to be cheaper than pepsi for me to buy it as I will give pepsi my business from now on unless coke is a price leader

Well I'm sure the point of the promotion is not to anger people so that they would buy the drinks of the competition. It reminds me somewhat of the Swiss Knight Cheese promo which was pulled prematurely and left a bad taste in the mouth of many who were collecting American Airline miles.
