Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only poor popper.

foxberg, FYI your 1800Flowers discount code expired 12/31/10. Wasn't sure if you realized that or not.

I've found that a quick read of the rules before entering often clears up any mystery about how to win a contest. This is from item #8 in the rules:

"There will be 80,264 random, computer-generated winning times during the Promotion Period, 1 Grand Prize per Week and 1 First Prize per Day. If you are the first player to play the Instant Win Game at or after one of the randomly-generated times, you will be a potential instant winner of the prize indicated.

So you can pick the first bubble or wait for bubble number 4,000, it doesn't matter. To win you have to pop the bubble on or after a winning time that has been pre-determined by the computer.

Bubbles Don't Matter

I can confirm the bubbles don't matter and this is a totally random game based on when you click "Play." I started one game over the weekend, got distracted by a phone call, and actually received a "congratulations, you won" e-mail from MCR before I had even clicked on a bubble. I then went back and clicked on a bubble and, sure enough, won the amount listed in the email (10 points).

I won one trivial "prize" last year, 10 points or so. Goose egg this year. I find the game 2B a waste of time & a PITA.
Oh-so-thank-U for the computer generation rule. I too have tried small ones, big ones, medium size, grabbing one early, waiting. . .

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't pay attention to it.

Free 15% Off LiveNation Merchandise code

I just accidentally discovered how you can get a free 15% off LiveNation Merchandise code without using any points.

After you enter the 125 Days of Summer Instant Win game a link appears next to the "My Account" that says "See Special Offer" or something like that. Click that and it takes gives you the 15% off code for LiveNation.

You can enter the 125 Days of Summer Instant Win (and any instant win game) without using MCR points by clicking the "rules" link for the game and then scrolling through and in the "Ways to Enter" section there will be a link for a free entry. That link gives you a Captcha to complete then credits you with a free entry... then just click to play the instant win and it will give you the option to use your free entry instead of points. You can do this up to 5 times per instant win game.

Unfortunately, the discount code is only for merchandise and not tickets... so its not all that useful... but its still free.

I only clicked 1 bubble and won 10 points.

With the bubble game, it is already determined if your are a winner or loser before you even start the game. It does not matter which bubble you click as your winning has already been predetermined.

You're a winner* - so let's celebrate.
Congrats on winning 10 My Coke Rewards Points

Same here - tons of clicks and only bubbles... But somebody else must be winning - the counter of available points went down from over 600,000 a few weeks ago all the way down to 83,660 yesterday.
I've also noticed that there were a few museum redemptions available:
- the Word of Coca-Cola in Atlanta: general admission for Adult/Senior/Youth is 300/260/200 points which is equivalent to $16/$14/$12
- National WWII Museum in New Orleans: 250 points for exhibit+4D experience or 225 points for exhibits only which is equivalent to $23 and $18 respectively.

While the redemptions are not as great value as some other recent redemptions, it is still might be worth for cashing in some spare points.
