1. Make points harder to get.
2. Increase the amount of points needed for popular awards.
3. Impose lifetime redemption limitations on popular awards.
4. Eliminate really popular awards completely.

You would think MCR is a frequent flyer program! :D

Let's not give them any ideas... The next thing you know, they'll be looking to charge fees to redeem for awards. :)

2000 priority club points now says:

"We're sorry, this item is temporarily unavailable. Please come back later!"

I take it that means the limited time offer is over?

It's over, but with the possibility of returning at a later date. In the past, they have tended to come and go with some regularity. However, this time it took about 5-6 months before the current batch showed up. Your guess is as good as mine as to when the next 2000 point awards will show up, if at all.

I think they are starting rewards program on coke.de on May 11. There will be codes under caps and I think from fridge packs. Codes are 16 characters, letters and numbers. Printed very cleanly under a cap. The same deal: one cap - 3 points. I couldn't find a rewards catalog yet.

I knew that would happen.. I didn't have enough points in my acccount to redeem (was saving codes for the next double point promo), so I was scrambling to get them in.. Even with winning 10 bonus points twice from the Million Point giveaway and 10 points bonus points twice from the Wendys promo, I still needed to make it to next week. Lesson learned.

I got two T's right after I claimed them. I thought Coke caught up and wouldn't send extra T's anymore. Yesterday I got an email that the other two were shipped as well! Thanks!

This particular deal is now sold out, however for future reference here is an angle to consider: Amazon has a trade-in program where they will deposit an Amazon gift card into your account for certain movies and video games. In this case the NBA 2K11 PS3 game would bring $25 from Amazon, or 5 cents/MCR point. We buy items from Amazon almost every week so one of their GC's is as good as cash to me, in this case every Coke cap was worth 15 cents.

PS: There's a guy on SD that claims that he got 16 of the NBA 2K11 games from MCR yesterday!

I didn't know about the trade in program. I'll definitely consider it for the future.

Until yesterday I didn't know about it either, that's when I first heard about it when I was reading the SD thread.

It looks like you can send them bunch of crap and get some money for it.

Anyone else been having a problem with 20 pack codes? I have entered several where it only gave me 10 points and then offered to let me play the "pop the bubble game" like I had entered a 12 pack code.

stinkycop Apr 28, 2011 2:04 pm

I wish they would bring back the AA club passes
