Wow, 8600 MCR points redeemed in a matter of a few hours, you da man!!

And to think of all the whiners that post with comments like "MCR sucks, they have nothing of value", I've tried to tell them to be patient and continue to accumulate points as great deals - like this - still pop up periodically.

Not according to the banner that they are already running next to the redemption - "Celebrate Wednesdays with a deal. If we’re sold out this week, come back next Wednesday for a new deal."

I could redeem for a couple more codes but will not hold my breath on them replenishing it before the end of today.

Guess I got here too late. What really sucks is that when I log in, there's a link to the promotion at the center of the page but when I click on it, I'm told it's Out of Stock.

dawgs May 25, 2011 1:57 pm

It didn't give me an out of stock just now...

It took my coke points and gave me a weird code that does not work:

Thanks! I hope it holds up for the next 3 hours.

Just saw these postings and went to the Coke web site. No problem getting 10 redemptions.

XStAnt May 25, 2011 2:41 pm

They are back in stock. Just redeemed 6 of them.

CMK10 May 25, 2011 2:57 pm

Thanks for the update! I cashed in 1,100 CR points for a nice 11,000 PC point haul! Now I have to think about where I want to redeem. I'm so glad I didn't go for a Nike gift card a few weeks ago.

It's working, but there appears to be a huge lag between posting and having the points appear in your account.

As others have noted, the codes post instantaneously to your PC account. If yours aren't, there must be a problem. (Are you checking your total to see if it is increasing?)

Just grabbed three more for 26 @ 500 total. As previously mentioned, you MUST log out of your PCR account, then log back in to see the points and postings. These last three all posted within seconds at least the points. This morning, the line items were taking a bit longer, but the point totals changed instantly.

Just redeemed for another 3000 PCR points. I've entered all of the codes I had in order to redeem for those, including scrounging around in the car and such to find the last 3 points I needed. :D

Note the info at the bottom of the PC "deposit points" page:

If you have chosen to earn miles instead of points for your qualifying stays, your deposited voucher will automatically be converted to miles at the rate of 200 miles for every 1,000 points if your preferred earning alliance is one of the following airlines: AeroMexico, American Airlines, Air Canada Aeroplan, Alaska Airlines, America West Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, Finnair, Global Pass, Mexicana, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways. ...
This would effectively be 200 miles for 100 MCR points. Anyone know how that compares to earlier airline rewards? Other than a huge number of additional airline options.

Lurker1999 May 25, 2011 5:05 pm

I'm glad you all could partake and that it indeed registered all the points. :D I cleaned out my account as well but I only collect points as I drink the soda so I'm a pretty light weight with respect to the account. Now what does a 40,000 PC point balance buy me?
