there are still a few options in the MCR program
1. is the most obvious; just create another email account
2. wait it out, this isn't the first time (or the 2nd) that MCR has pulled the once in a lifer rule; they have rescinded these in the past; so I keep adding points and when they relax the rules, I unload like a bird on a car window.
3. finally as the poster above said, get some of the park certs and sell them on ebay or craigslist and make a couple of bucks

You are correct sir, thanks for pointing out my error! The numbers in my last post should have been 4.3 cents/pt for Universal Studios and 1.875 cents/pt for PC.

If strictly buying points @11.5 per 1K I clear 5.25¢ per MCR point for PCR.

Can somebody help me? I was looking for the referal bonus for MCR today, and I could not find it. Does anybody know if it still being offered, and if so where do I find it? Thanks in advance.

There's no referral bonus. You could, however, get an offer of 50 bonus points for 35 entered within the first 10 days of opening an account.

Other than perhaps if they were trying achieve/maintain status with PC (feel free to correct me on this, is this even possible?) why would any rational person pay $11.50 per 1K PC points when it's been common knowledge for months now that potentially unlimited PC points can instead be bought for only $6 per 1K by making random Points and Cash award reservations and then immediately canceling the reservations?

Well, in this case it's 3¢/point for me.

Here's my math, of course it's based upon the acceptance that points are readily available directly from PC for $6 per 1K pts

+ For 160 MCR points they offer an award of 500 PC pts, if you accept that these are worth $3 then $3 divided by 160 = 1.875 cents per PC point

+ Similarly, for 630 MCR points they offer 2000 PC pts, accepting that these are worth $12 then $12 divided by 630 = 1.905 cents per point

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see where your 3 cents/pt valuation comes from.

New account - 50 bonus points plus 10 bonus for pAde Play during May. 500 PCR voucher would cost 100 MCR points. I only redeem 500's. Different months have different bonus promos. They used to give 75 bonus points before. My ratio than was (according to your math) 3.5¢.

Which award were you trying to redeem (500 or 2000), and when was the last time you successfully redeemed for Priority Club points?

this happened to me once before. The reason could be a connection issue during the submission or could've double clicked the link by accident. My account reset itself in an hour or so and I was able to redeem.

It's also the same error you get when you try to redeem a 500-PC point award in May 2010 after waiting 32 days from your previous PC redemption.

If Travlynn reports that he got this error on an account that had not been used for PC redemptions since early 2010 or late 2009, that would seem to indicate to me that a person should not waste their time adding more points to a previously-used account under the current MCR rules.

When MCR brought back PC points this April, we were able to get a 2K which was marked 'Limit 1' without the word 'Lifetime,' even if we had gotten several of them over the winter.
From the above reports, it looks like things have changed. Gee, I have 2 acct.s with 700 each which are awaiting the return of the 2Ks. It looks bleak now.
