As expected, the 2 per month limit on PC point reward redemption is still in force.

DavidDTW Feb 16, 2009 11:43 pm

I have a few codes from the Canadian Coke program. If anyone wants them, send me a pm.

They Shut Off the system to fix the glitches

I did somehow as an experiment manage to post more than 120 points
(I went from 15 to 156 points) and grabbed one of the 500 pointer thingys
when Coke shut down the system to fix the glitches...

Did anyone else notice the great big giant coke bottles after you inputted
your code(s) ?

True to form the biggest prize now is $100 Nike card or a Hamilton Beach Food processor either or for 2,000 points.

The other bigger and more expensive stuff hasnt beeen put over to the sweepstakes yet....

120pt/week limit is in place. The error message:

You've reached the max number of points you can earn this week. Of course, you can still enter Bonus Points anytime, even if you reach the weekly limit. Your Points Tracker will rest on Monday at 12a.m. ET

Anyone read deeply into MCRPointsPlus?

There's now an instant win category.

Car rentals rewards are now under Shopping, not Travel (not interested, odd enough to list).

Travel awards are matched in the new category Experiences.

Everything appears to be under Entertainment (including PC points).

The skin appears to be the same, yet the program appears to be taking a new direction.

what does the quote (boldfaced) mean?

There must be other ways to earn points, then code entry.

Hearing back that 15digit codes aren't being accepted. The returned error message is the same as entering an 11 or 14 digit number.

12-digit codes only -- new format skin -- but totally new program direction

12-digit codes only now -- all others 11, 15 or whatever
are now VOID

My account just lost 300 points while I was entering a few 3 pointers.

My session also ended unexpectedly a couple of times and I had to log back in to continue entering.

Anyone else having trouble?

Lame Upcoming Promo

From 2/23/09 to 2/27/09, for each 12-pack code entered of Diet Coke in combination with a 12-pack code from Minute Maid, one will earn a 5-point bonus.

Will you be able to earn more than 120 points though?

Call Coke MCR CSRs Direct 1-(866) 674-2653 for clarifications of new rules if needed

The way I read it if you post the correct codes you should be able
to get an extra 5 bonus points beyond the 120 point per week limit --
BUT, as sneaky as they are maybe its best to call Coke MCR customer
service DIRECT for clarification ---

Here is the DIRECT MCR toll-free phone number: 1-(866)-674-2653

LOST CODES? POINTS? Computer Gliches? Better call for help -- 1-(866) 674-2653

As pointed out in Post #2719, you can earn more than 120 points in a week if some of the points are bonus points. The MCR rules state "bonus points shall not be included in the 120 point limit."

Sneak Coke: The new Buy 1- Get 1 "free" 12 Pack MCR reward coupons CHANGES

Sneaky Sneaky Coca-Cola

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The "new and improved" MCR loyalty rewards have a new

"Buy 1 - Get 1 free" 12 pack coupon, that now restrict you to

purchases of ONLY the following SPECIFIC Coke 12 pack can products:

Coca-Cola Classic
Diet Coke
Coca-Cola Zero
Sprite
Fanta 12 packs (any flavor)
Pibb
Barq Root Beer (regular or diet)
Fresca (regular, peach, or black cherry)

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The use of the coupon WILL NOT ALLOW purchases of any
Coca-Cola Flavored product, such as Vanilla olr Black Cherry...

nor any Diet Coca-Cola product such as Diet Coca-Cola Plus,

nor Diet Coca-Cola that's flavored, such as Diet Coca-Cola with Lime,

nor Diet Coca-Cola Black Cherry nor Caffeine Free Coca-Cola

nor will it allow Sprite Zero purchases,

nor will it allow you to use the coupon to purchase Vault of any flavor --

all these are EXCLUDED from the "Buy 1-Get 1" MCR coupon use.

Now, THERE ARE some stores anf grocery chains taht erroneously
have (or may still be accepting these coupons) for the NON-SPECIFIC
coke product items mentioned, HOWEVER, they are in error and
when they seek reimbursement for the "free" 12-pack it is being rejected and charged-back to the store that erroneously accepted it.

I previously noticed that when the coupons would not scan, clerks would call for an over-ride and in ERROR manually make the discount corrections -
that's WHY Safeway and its other divisional stores will no longer allow
the use of these MCR coupons

EXCEPT for only the SPECIFIC named product(s) on the coupon --

So if you like Cherry or Vanilla Coke -- or Caffeine Free Coke --
and or anything else NOT SPECIFICALL MENTIONED ... don't get these 200-point MCR coupons for a MCR reward because they will NOT work.

Further the coupons EXPIRE within 3 months of day they are issued to you.

The PREVIOUS COUPONS were better, as they allowed purchase for ANY
12-pack Coke item, including Vault.

Coca-Cola and their MCR promotion is really getting to be a pain in the arse !
