Hi, I think a Halloween basket on 1800Flowers is what is being discussed.

Cheryl,
you're probably right - thanks so much! :D

Also remember that if you use the Skymiles Delta business card you get 5% cash back on the order at 1 800 Flowers......

Anyone know if the 2000 miles from Delta is 1 time or every order?

These had football characters on the boxes. I think they were out earlier in the season. I don't usually buy 24 packs, but I had found a couple of these in the recycle bin. Walmart had maybe half a dozen at the bottom of a big stack of boxs. All the ones on top were the normal 20 pters. The boxes are marked very clearly on the flap with a big note that they're worth 50 points.

Coke Promotion Extended

The Coke Promotion has been extended. If you go to "Ask Hank" on the coke site, one of the FAQ's addresses the length of the coke promotion. It has been updated to read: "My Coke Rewards has been extended through January 31, 2009". Just thought I'd pass this along.

Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna check it out and see if they have renewed rewards.

I'm glad its extended. I have 2500+ points, and of course there are no rewards left in stock that I have any interest in.

TrojanHorse Oct 22, 2007 10:10 am

its only good if they have things of value to redeem for

the way they have run this thing is a good case study on what happens when having monkeys running a promo

Unless they're going to restock rewards in a major way, there's no point in extending it for another year. Right now rewards are only a fraction of what they were in every category.

If past history is any guide, they will restock rewards, maybe around Jan. 1, but the prices will be inflated. Maybe 500 MCR points for 1000 SkyMiles.

^ Well said to all the nay-sayers. :td: This is the first time there's been a beverage rewards program that actually gives you stuff. Would people prefer MCR to no MCR?

I don't know if I can continue thru 2009. I just redeemed 8895 points for a Dooney and Bourke handbag this past week. I redeemed the points on Sunday and Wednesday of last week the purse was on my front door step!
I am still plugging away, putting points in every day hoping that they'll regroup and put some better prizes back on the site. I doubt that I get back up to the 8000++ points though. I would really love to see the Hilton points back....but I think that's wishful thinking.

TrojanHorse Oct 23, 2007 3:25 am

well if there is absolutely nothing I want then yes, having no mcr is no big deal at all

if they do have something I want, then i'm glad its here.. as I type this there is absolutely not a thing that I really care about

although since i don't buy most of my coke products and get my points for free I guess its not skin off my back except trying to keep up with the ten entries a day

Looking at how that promotion works, I don't see why you couldn't access 1800 Flowers via the Skymiles shopping portal and enter the promotion code at checkout to get the 2k bonus PLUS 10 Skymiles per dollar, thus doubling (or more) the Skymiles payout. Barring something in the T&C about "not combinable with other promotions," etc., this could be a very nice deal.

I don't see anything in the T&C's stating that this 2000 mile bonus is a 1 time shot. Can we do it multiple times? My order came out to $6.38 with tax and it now sayts 11/30/2007 as an end date for the promo.

Hey all. For those considering 1-800 flowers, I believe that I've located the least expensive item on the site that is non-discounted and eligible for the promotion.
http://ww22.1800flowers.com/product....2151&cm_cid=to

Book only is $15.95. Plus shipping that puts you at $25.94. I ordered yesterday and will see if the points post next month.
