"CC" is "The Coupon Connection," a forum especially designed for the exchange of travel-related items--it's under FT Community. I believe you have to have been an FT member for 90 days and have 90 posts to access CC. It is the proper place for such exchanges--it was designed to keep the focus of FT away from such exchanges.

In general, it is not wise to openly discuss buying and selling codes--there are lurkers here who could restrict the programs if there is too much chatter.

850 Skymiles about to be gone?
 

I've been collecting 850 skymiles codes every week or so for a few months. About a month ago, I noticed the codes began to be issued in numerical, then alphabetical order. Did anyone else notice this? Yesterday, a coworker cashed one out and it began with a "UNC". I would guess this means that the codes are almost to the end of the alphabet. Anyone else worried?

I just redeemed a 850 Skymile reward today at 4:00pm and it started with WKW.

I just redeemed for the 850 miles and the code started WR4. I don't think that they will stop with X-Y-Z, but the permutations if all combinations of letters and numbers for 10 character codes starting with these letters would still be in the millions (3 x 36 to the 9th power), so I don't think it would be easy to tell if the code is an indicator of the DL miles running low.

Just my $0.02 worth.

We redeemed our code at approximately 11PM on Sunday and our code started with UDD. I would agree with the preivuous post. If there were any correlation, and there may be, there are so many possible permutations, that I do not think there should be any cause for concern.

Does anyone know when the code expires? I want to delay redemption so that I can extend the life of my Delta miles as much as possible.

My 3000 reward started with a C? So the little rewards are running out :confused:

I did a redemption this morning for 850 delta miles. The code started with "X".

I hope they start over when all of the xyz's are gone.

Redeemed around 5pm yesterday (25 September) and the code started with WQN

I realize that there are millions of permutations that the codes could be. My concern is before August, the codes were random (start with an M one time, and a D the next). In August, they began to be assigned in numerical order, then alphabetical order. Now it seems that we are coming to the end of the alphabet. They may start over with different codes, but they may not. That is all that I'm saying.

FYI, if anyone else has this problem...

My account was credited with the missing points yesterday. This happened much quicker than I expected. MCR asked in what city and state the product was purchased, and since I kept the carton I also provided them with the product codes. Less than 24 hrs later they corrected the error.

Does anyone know which promotional codes still work? I am going to help my friend sign up but I don't know which codes to give him. Thanks so much! :)

Post #1070 in this thread. MCR told me in an email that the expiration date is 3/1/2010 for the mileage codes.

Quantity left as of 8pm today.

850 mile certs: 61
3000 mile certs: 1487

No idea if they restock when they run out, but we all will see soon as they will be OOS of 850 certs on Thursday or at the latest by Friday.
