Must be something new. During the last month, I was able to cash in enough points to get 25k priority points. I hope that's just a temporary glitch because there isn't much else to get in the travel awards.

You cannot reserve any more of this award
Got the same message: "You cannot reserve any more of this award"

Instead of giving me the voucher code, the Coke website replied: "You cannot reserve any more of this award" What a pile ... Since when did they ration or cap the number of these Priority Club awards that you can redeem for? What prior notice did they give that there was a quota or cap? And if there is a cap, what number is it?:td: |
I am wondering if it's just the 500 pointers that are dead? On most of the travel rewards, the lower valued ones ran out first. Has anyone tried to redeem a 2000 pointer (which I doubt anyone has since it's cheaper points-wise to redeem for 4 x 500)?

MCR did the same in attempts to redeem 625 points for 2,000 priority club points -- "user cannot reserve any more of this reward" :td: MCRCoke/DL discontinued redemption codes for skymiles because too many people were selling them on eBay. Now it seems that they are limiting the amount of priority club points you get redeem for because people are trading/swapping on tCC... and yes, MCR has rules about and against such "illegal dispositions" (trades, swaps, barters, buying/selling etc) of MCR rewards in the MCR TOS... |
New MCR T&C's (MCR did not issue a notice of this change WTbleep!)
500 Priority Club Rewards Points Limit of three (3) redemptions per My Coke Rewards account. Error message: ! Now nothing left to choose from until they change redemption options :td: |
This is the most ridiculous thing ever. I have been collecting those points religiously for 3 years now. Just BS!
Dead to me now. Like this will stop people trying to game the system. Hello...they'll just keep opening new accounts. I am pretty sure based on the number of Nigerian business opportunites I get in my Inbox that it's not that hard to open a new e-mail address. Smart move MCR. You just blocked your most loyal customers and made it so that the scanners can still game you. Well played. |

You just blocked your most loyal customers and made it so that the scanners can still game you. Well played. Trust me when I say that MCR has that covered too. They can track your "new email address" to your ISP and personal computer id trail. Yes they do have the time and sophicated equipment to track it -- and they do. As for limits of number of awards you can get, it was suppose to be only ONE free 12-pack Coke coupon for 100 MCR points per "consumer" ie,, email address. Then because there wasn't too many 'nice things' to redeem points for at the low end of the point system, they opened it up to allow you to get as many as you like. However, now people are selling even these coupons on eBay and thereby it won't be long before that too is completely removed from availability, as were the redemption codes to get DL Skymiles to top off your account... Now they've just put the brakes on Priority Club points. Same reasons. They know people are selling, bartering and or trading these rather than utilizing them theirselves. How? Each code is unique and can be traced back to the original person to whom it was issued. From that point the "bonus PC points" in any given account, say Mr. Smith's PC point account -- may show they were got from Mr. Jone's MCR point account and perhaps 10 or more other people's MCR accounts... THAT kind of thing ticks off both PC as partner-sponsor and Coke and its fulfillment house: Brainstorm Logistics. The resultant is that people who use these MCR "rewards" properly for themselves are screwed by the greedy who misuse the privilege. Again, like Skymiles and other frequent flyer programs, MCR is no different. We can EARN points etc in a variety of ways...BUT we have NO ownership RIGHTS, therefore they can be cancelled or seized (in the case of airmiles, vouchers, certificates etc) or discontinued (as in MCR rewards) for abuses of the program rules. And they DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE AN ADVANCE NOTICE to anyone. :td: It sucks I know. |

You would have thought the 3x limit would have been since the change rather than retroactive. |

:td: This program has been headed downhill since day 1. Out of stocks, devaluations, and now unannounced and draconian limits to reward redemptions. No real point in buying Coke products anymore.

changes?
pardon me if this has already been reported...i may have missed one or two of the 120+ pages in this thread ;-)
have you seen the new PowerAde bottles for the sugar free version? it is a white label...and there is a big ole blank spot where the MCR logo used to be - nothing new put there, just blank. I called the 800 number and they said the new PowerAde sugar free, Option i think it is called, is no longer participating....and indeed powerade overall will no longer be participating when the current stock runs out. but "My Code Rewards has been extended until january 2009 so keep drinking" Bummer....it had fewer calories than G2 the gatorade clone.... ITTIA |
