The gift card options, when available, are usually a good value at 4 cents per point (e.g. a $100 gift card for 2500 points). Right now, the only gift cards available are for Adidas or 24-Hour Fitness, but over the years I've seen gift cards for Best Buy, Simon Malls, Sony, and a couple of other places. Hopefully they'll return as the holiday season approaches (or before).

OK, so, you say a point is worth 1-2cents.
Then, what is the average number of points a code from 24-pack box is worth?

Not sure I understand your question.

A MCR point is one MCR point. It doesn't matter if you get it from a 1L-bottle cap or 24-pack. The difference is you get 3-point code from one cap and 10-point code from 12-pack. For 24-pack, I believe the code worths 25 points.

The side kick is you can only enter 10 codes max per MCR day.

I say it's worth 4 cents if you redeem it for gift cards. Better value, IMHO.

It's worth the number of points of a 24-pack (20) times the value of a point (4 cents)... fairly simple arithmetic. The point value is determined by what you redeem it for, not where you get the point.

20 points, actually - exactly twice the 12-pack. The 32-packs from Costco are worth 25 points.

I stand corrected.

I was uncertain if it was 25 or 20 points since I've only got 12-pack codes so far. I must have mistaken the Costco ones with the 24-pack. :)

Hello,

I have some questions about double-points days.

I presume nobody knows when the next one will be -- but please correct me if I am wrong about this.

I know from past experience that the 3-point codes and 10-point codes will double. Will 20-point codes and 25-point codes?

In the past, I saw multiple conflicting claims here about this. Does anybody know for certain?

I'm trying to save some of the higher valued codes, and I'm wondering whether I should be saving certain ones or just using them.

Thanks.

the costco 32 packs have the 25 point codes

My 25-pointers doubled last time MCR had a double day (long, long, long time ago). Problem is more about knowing when the next double-day will be or having items of value to the point holders. Since the FF miles and hotel points were drastically restricted or redemption value became out of range for most, there isn't much of value to spend my MCR points.

Delta Its Back But Now Instead Of Miles You Gettung A Round Trip Ticket For 12000 Points Valid Anywhere On The 48 Lower States Alaska Mexico Canada And El Caribe Not Bad At All

I bet it's the same type of award which dg4255 trades often on tCC: DL metal only, books into E fare bucket, which is = difficult as N (Sky Saver Y), no rush booking fees but U must phone to book & pay Call Center Fee.

Anyone notice some of the new prizes they have listed on MCR? Make your own jump rope kit? Construction paper package? Talk about lame. It is getting scary. Reminds me of the old days when Kool Aid started winding down. I'm hoping my prize is still there when I get to it...otherwise I'm SOL.

Anyone try the sweepstakes? Win anything?

After waiting and waiting for something decent, I bend and spend 1,200 points for a free day at Avis only to find the new Delta reward upon my return from Alaska. I was right at 12,000 points to boot. Now I have to bust a butt to get back to 12k before the award goes away...
