A nationwide (international too) broad-based marketing program...with few or no compelling attainable awards.

This bs about "reloading" awards, c'mon, if they wanted to they could come up with something overnight. This company has a worldwide brand recognition that rivals Jesus and Michael Jordan.

It seems they are coasting on the marketing wave already created by the program and yet people are still collecting codes.

Maybe something good will show up, maybe not. That is part of the game. We may get to play the game, but one team will always come out on top. ;)

heck I'm playing but not buying unless its on sale and then I have to need the product since I'm a pepsi guy first... coke is strictly a price decision for me.. but as for collecting codes, people give me their caps, I find them in the pantry left behind for me.. so for example I have retrieved 27 caps today and I still have a couple hours to go.. and I did not buy one of those cokes..

i'm in a no lose situation.. the more that drop out, the better my selection and plus coke doesn't make a dime off of me.. :D

just about out

i'm down to 2 points left in my account
and a 10 point code left over from last weeks Coke sale @ Harris-Teeter

i'd like to get to 89 for a Coke Teddy bear for a neighbors toddler
but they are likely to be out of stock soon also!!

I'd suggest that those with lots of points and nothing to do with them
get the Coke Teddy Bears and donate them to the Salvation Army or Toys for Tots as Christmas presents

We have lots of coke caps but we can't get the website to work correctly, meaning we can't see the entire website to click appropriate boxes and enter codes.

Any tips?

EDITED TO ADD: My info screen is scrolled over to the left hand side where I can't click the privacy agreements so I can't even register. I have tried both IE and Mozilla, and I have tried changing font size and zooming in and out. Each time the stuff on the page scoots over to the far left.

Try making your resolution on your computer higher. (Start - Control Panel - Display - Advanced). I'm guessing it is currently set at 800x600. Try 1024x768.

Just redeemed my fourth Delta 3000 mile award. (I've been part of the program since early 2006.)

How many have you guys redeemed?

Also, any news on an extension. I hope they do extend it, this has been a great program.

gtlodger00 Oct 10, 2007 8:49 am

What I've redeemed:

[***Edit: left column is the points cashed in for the reward and the right column is the award]

240 1,500 Delta Skymiles
515 15% off Delta Ticket (Used at Thanksgiving)
515 15% off Delta Ticket (Used at X-Mas)
57 Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan Truck (Gift for Nephews)
57 Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan Truck (Gift for Nephews)
400 5,000 Hilton HHonors Pts. After 2 Stays
1180 3,000 Delta Skymiles
335 850 Delta Skymiles
335 850 Delta Skymiles
335 850 Delta Skymiles

Hopefully they keep the program for next year but I've gotten most of my caps from College Football games, personal consumption, and family.

Like you I make out like a bandit at College FB games.. I've also found a ton at the local hospital as well.. no i don't go there just for the caps LOL

question: are those numbers in the left column, the amount of points required for one redemption?

I believe the left column of his table are point costs, not quantities.

gtlodger00 Oct 10, 2007 12:07 pm

Sorry for confusion, I was trying to cut and paste from a spreadsheet.

Yes, the left column is the points cashed in for the reward and the right column is the award. So I got one 1,500 Skymiles reward, two 15% coupons, two holiday trucks, etc. All totaled I've cashed in 3,969 Coke points.

At first I was slightly concerned/jealous you got 1 million DL miles. :D
