Having attended the inaugural QF FT QP meeting in Bne last year, I have been following this thread for some time, but due to other non-flexible commitments, cannot make it tomorrow 
Have a great time and well done to QF WP for coordinating it ^ ^ .
Topics that I would have liked to discuss:
1) Recent QF FF changes
2) B Watson
3) Credit cards and QF points earning
4) AA platinum challenge - "ins" and out" from the experts!
and most importantly, would have loved to put more faces to the names on this board whose posts I have really enjoyed reading and learning from

The Sydney get together seems like the place to be,
Are you all really worth $300 to go and meet you all, flights, tolls, parking, etc costs of getting there.

I really didn't want to read this thread because I'm just getting jealous of you guys...
Although I really want to be to at least one of these, I just can't - especially not on a week day...

Finally, for those who are NB, PS or Gold (or any other airline FF for that matter!!) and not flying on that day - don't worry!! There are enough Plats at each meeting to get everybody in (as we can take 2 guests in each and none of us have to be flying). In fact in Sydney, Plats could take in 4 guests - two per entrance. so we can really make this quite a party...
For anybody going to drop in (if you haven't got auto entry from a flight that day or Plat), make sure you page "Rod Speed" or "Dave Noble" to make sure we come and get you
Unfortunately, due to last minute change of work plans, I will be flying into SYD for this meeting rather than already being there. Willyroo & Goldflyer, perhaps you can PM each other and travel out together instead, or get together with ozstamps.

QF WP and Willyroo, leave your phones on. I may try to make a cameo appearance depending on the timing. I'll be on US East Coast time tomorrow, so it will be the wee hours of the morning. But knowing the folks I will be with, I will likely just be getting back my hotel room about that time.
