I am sure what you mean combine, but you can open checking before Mar 31, and open cc anytime, but suggest opening it after April 1

how do you know the offer for the 21000 miles will be there April 1?
Nobody knows if the 25,000, (not 21,000, old offer) is available after april 1, so apply before then |

True, the checking account with the debit card and the CC are 2 different and unrelated products.
Yuel, I noticed that you opened this thread. In the past, did Chase post a link before the expiration of the then prevailing one? I think this is an important data point for those who want to wait for the Milesathon. I do remember past promos being extended before the expiration date in the past, but no signs of a new promo yet |
5 transactions/mo.. what to buy?
im trying to figure out what to buy to meet the 5 transactions/mo. i don't want to spend much on this card, im just trying to not get the fee. ive been buying $5 amazon giftcards, but that's $50/mo for just 2 debit cards (me and wife). and i'd like to get 2 more business debit cards .
but i want to know what i can buy cheaply and quickly to make the 5 transactions/mo/card. im especially looking for cheap things to buy that are all internet so i dont have to go anywhere. otherwise have people gone to, say, homedepot to the self-checkout and bought, for example, 20 nails separately to cover the 5 transactions on 4 cards? what are you guys buying? |

Personally, I've been using it for lunches in the cafeteria at school, and small purchases at the drugstore or local grocery store (if i need to pick up 1 or 2 things) if I need to until I reach those 5 purchases/month. They don't code as anything that gets me bonus miles on any card (the cafeteria), and it's instantly consumable - so no worries of returning or disputes. |

That's a good one. Quick and easy, never see a person.

Mrs. Juggler and I each opened up a new checking accounts this morning. We were unable to use both the $125/$100 coupon and the 25k Continental miles offers.
It seems unlikely to me that getting credited w/ both offers is possible. Has anyone had both promotions credited (cash and miles)? |
Signed up for the card online a month ago and was given no option to input a onepass account # (I didn't have one yet, and had seen mention in this thread of Chase automatically creating one so I decided to let them do that).
Made my first qualifying purchase 3 weeks ago, have had some miles show up on Chase (for purchases, not bonus), yet I still see "Onepass Frequent Flyer Number" in blue text under the "show reward details" tab online. Is this standard? I tried calling the number Chase provided along with the bonus miles tracking #s to inquire as to the OnePass account these miles would be posted into and was repeatedly told that only ContinentalOnepass could link accounts. I argued that this was part of the Chase system and asked for a supervisor, who told me the same thing. When I was transferred to Continental they told me that they couldn't do anything as they receive all their info from Chase (which makes sense to me). Any ideas? |
Don't waste time on the phone. If you have OP #, just send a secure message via the customer center (from your Chase account) with this #, asking them (Chase) to link your card with the OP you provided. Then wait and see when statement closes whether the miles deposited from Chase or not. If you're still missing your bonuses send another secure message via Chase. It might take sometime time but eventually they will sort it out.

She thought that might be the reason that the system thinks I already took the offer in 2010 instead of 2009. Anyone has similar experience? Thanks a lot.
Has anyone successfully done it twice under those facts? |

I'm wondering something similar -- is the one per year limitation based on the date of the bonus offer or the account opening? I also opened an account in December but didn't get the debit cards or bonus miles until January. Has anyone successfully done it twice under those facts? |
Does applying online work if you enter the coupon code from:
https://www.chase.com/index.jsp?pg_n..._Consumer_9938 I have a local chase branch, but I have already opened three locally in past two years (personal & biz), so want to try online in case they remember my face  |
