Just applied online and it worked fine. I tried funding $500 with an amtrak chase card but it did not work. Then tried a chase debit card and it worked. I then tried to open the business one online but after the end of the application it said it did not recognize the coupon code ( I did hit refresh and used a fresh coupon so that is not the problem. ).

Same story for me. 2500 but no 22500. What number did you call?

I called the 1-877-292-4273 number that was on the tracking number letter. I actually think that is a Continental number, not Chase but the woman on the other end of the line seemed well tied in and fairly quickly offered to launch an investigation even if she did seem a little skeptical about me having three accounts.

Beware. The rules specifically state "Too qualify for the reward you must open a new Chase Checking account with a $100 minimum opening deposit of new money (money not currently held by Chase or it's affiliates)."

I called and was told that since I opened the account in December, but the miles didn't post until mid-January, Chase may count that as a 2010 calender year reward. But she also promised to follow up and call me back. We'll see.

The Chase online rep was quite unhelpful, telling me to call the regular Continental 800 number.

Chase credit cards work just fine in my experience. I think they just don't want you transferring money from one Chase checking account to another.

Better banking Acc or Premier Acc

Anybody tried to open a Better Banking Checking Account or Premier Checking Account with this coupon?
I am lazy to make 5 purchases every month to avoid the service fee. So I am trying to open a Better Banking Checking. I can get service fee waived if I remain over $1500. But I am wondering I can earn 25k if I open Better Banking or Premier Checking.
Thanks in advance.

anybody think its too late for this promo? Do you just have to be approved/fund account by deadline or do you have to actually make qualifying activity by 3/31?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks

I opened Chase Better Banking Account in Feb and already received 22,500 miles so far. It's tough to keep making 5 trans for a long time.

Anyone know the answer to this? Was planning on signing up tomorrow, but it hadn't occurred to me that five purchases may have to be made by the 31st.

Still no evidence of opening business account online

Still haven't seen anyone post details of successfully opening a Chase *business* checking account online. Seems it's not possible, e.g. everyone gets an error part-way through the online app process.

I'd really hate to miss this offer--only a few more days left. Has anyone tried applying for the *business* account online and been successful? I opened a personal account online successfully--was a bit of a pain, e.g. having to deal with customer service and getting them to link my OP# to the account--because it's not asked for during the online app process.

Has anyone with a personal account tried to open a business account over the phone? I think someone has said or hinted that it may be possible to open the business checking over the phone if one already had a "business relationship" with Chase (I, unfortunately, do not).

I believe in the fine print it says you have to complete the 5 purchases within 60-days of account opening.

Yes, 60 days within account opening in fine print. For the 10,000 and the 15,000 miles. I am signing up today during lunch.

Why not wait?

Why not wait for CO Mileathon to start Apr 1? Do you guys think the offer will not be extended?

Won't you still get mileathon credit as long as you have the chase card during the promotion period?

From past mileathon terms and conditions , you must acquire the card after you sign-up/register for mileathon to receive mileathon points. So, the short answer is NO.
