The rule of thumb is the name on the checking account should match the name on the OP account.

Customer, in my understanding, should mean each person that has a SSN. So that means for both Chase account holder and OP account holder.

Great, thank you so much. I'm creating checking accounts for myself, wife and daughter, and wasn't sure if I could lump all the miles in a single OnePass account or not.

I've opened Chase biz acct online w/o a problem.

Seems like the biz acct debit card has a $65 annual fee and no option for $25 or I missed something?

I do not see anything like that under my account, even though my bonus points posted properly into my Onepass account. I also do not see any reference of my Onepass account on my Chase Checking account paper/PDF statement. That is why I have asked that question.

From the page after you log in on chase.com, click on "Show Rewards" and then "See reward details".

Nope...that is absolutely correct. $65 dollars still worth 25000 miles IMO

To those of you that have opened your checking accounts online sometime this year, have you received any part of the bonus yet?

I opened the account online in early January and have only received the 2,500 portion of the bonus and am waiting for the 10,000 and 12,500 bonuses to post. It has been about 6 weeks since I opened the account and am getting anxious.

Please let me know if you have received your miles. Thanks!

I opened mine Jan 27th online and I received 12,500 bonus miles a few days ago around the same time I got the first statement. I think I hadn't completed 5 debit card purchases yet so I am still waiting for that to post. I would wait until your account has been open at least a couple months before you start to worry.

How long has it been since you completed the 5 debit card transactions? It took my wife & I about 6 to 8 weeks to receive our completed 25K miles each. The miles are broken down into 15K, 12.5K & 2.5K, and not all of them come from Chase, hence there is a delay.

I wish I would had found Flyertalk earlier. I was hoping to have a free ticket to Europe after college graduation...but it may be cutting it close.

Am I doing this correctly?
*Opened a Chase Checking ($25 debit card option) and Savings account online
*Funded $1000 ($500 each) with Schwab 2% ($25 - $20 cash back = $5 total cost)
*Confirmed I will get 10k and 15k points.
*Make five small purchases at a gas station each month for the next six months
*Try to open a business account for my web development hobby/"business" and can get an extra $25k

Concerns:
How do they know my OnePass number? If they create a new one, is it possible to merge the two?

Is this the post you are referring to: Have you checked your Chase account online? A few days after opening the account online, my OnePass number automatically appeared online.

He saw CO acct.# when he logged into his Chase cr. card acct. (after applying online). The checking acct. info is listed with your cr. card accts. Assuming I understand his post. :) That's a BIG assumption, I know. :)

Maybe you have to apply online to have your CO appear in your online Chase acct. Who knows. I do NOT see my CO # either. No biggie.

I did apply online and do not see my Onepass # listed neither under my checking account nor under my Chase CO MC account.

In the main page under your account you will find Debit Card Rewards. Click on it and it will expand and then click again on the CO debit card and you will get to Rewards Details. You should see your FF number there.

You have to give it a few days.

Like some others in the thread, I have also gotten my 2500 miles, but not the other 22.5k miles. I've completed my 5 transactions, and opened the account mid-January, so probably 5 to 6 weeks ago. If the miles don't show up in a couple of weeks, should I contact Chase or Continental?
