Here is the offer page for the $100 coupon. It is only for business checking accounts. The offer expires March 15, 2010.

Thanks for the link!

It doesn't seem to say whether this is stackable with the CO miles offer though...

Thanks for the link.
Too bad I just opened the business account yesterday, I wonder if it's retroactive.

FYI my Chase business banker just called me and said they are running a $100 credit promo on Monday for new accounts and that this WOULD be combinable with the Chase Continental Business Debit Card bonus (which I have been meaning to open).

I am going for it, with the hopes that the $100 is from a separate marketing budget and stackable. I'd ask your branch about it just in case this does actually work.

I am happy to report that I got my final 2500 miles deposited. Thanks so much for this promo, my wife & I got a total of 50K miles out of it :)

T&C..."Limit one business checking account-related premium per customer per calendar year." I don't think you will be able to combine 2 offers. Please post if you have been able to use 2 "coupons" while opening 1 account...

Fund business account with a CC?

I'm currently on the road in a state that has Chase (mine does not). When I opened the business account I tried to fund with a CC and the bank told me they process it as a cash advance. I had them try using my Citi card (with CA set at zero) and it did not go through. So, I funded with $25 and now need to see if there is any bank that will let me fund with my credit card for the remaining $475. Anyone with a successful experience with this? PM me, if it seems appropriate.

Just deposit $500 cash and take it out the next day or deposit $500 and write a starter check to your "real" bank. All it says is that you have to deposit $500 in the first 60 days. It doesn't say the money has to stay there.

Just fill it out with your SSN, check Sole-Prop on the form, and return to Chase. W9 is to determine if backup withholding is required and a 1099 at the year end is necessary. I thought they would have asked all of those questions while you open the bank account.

i'd like to do the business debit card also, but i've never done anything official about setting up a sole-prop or a tin. all i have is my ssn. do i have to do something formal about setting up my sole-prop, or should i be able to just type it in? is this officially allowable, or is it a "hack" that just works?

when i did type it in as sole prop/ssn a few days ago, chase's website bonked after a while and told me to goto a chase branch.

I had posted this on another thread - probably the wrong one. I'll try here - I opened the account yesterday.

I opened a Chase acct. today, but the coupon said I needed to take the "preferred" Continental debit card. Only during mid-sign up did I find out that the annual fee for this is $65. I've seen other comments that the $25 debit card will yield the same 25,000 miles. Is this still correct - is it possible that I could still change?

$25 debit card is definitely OK, and if you look at the t&c it says that if you opt in for the cheaper card you still get the miles. I don't know if you can actually change it now. You probably can cancel the $65 one and ask for the $25 in a branch or on the phone, but you'll probably need to call again and have them manually post the miles, since it might not be linked to your coupon offer properly.

I tried to change for the cheaper card and get a $40 refund, but was told by my branch (right or wrong) that it was not possible.:(

a quick question.
I never had that account but it looks like once I get both of those checking accounts I won't be able to take advantage of their 30k credit card promo, cause i will be a customer of theirs.
Is that a true statement ?
And if I close those 2 accounts, would I be legible for the 30k bonus from the credit card?

Just wanted to make sure. Thanks guys : )

No, it's not true. Checking accounts and credit accounts are two separate things. You can definitely get both the bonus for the checking account+debit card and the bonus for the credit card. (BTW, the checking account promo is only limited to one per year).

Business Account

Has anyone had any recent success opening a Biz account online? I am not in an area with a Chase branch nearby. I opened a personal acct on a recent visit, but the banker has said I need a host of documentation (i.e. business statement from CPA; articles of incorp), etc. to open a business account. Any ideas?
