Define "wrong"? (sorry, not trying to be sarcastic)

You can & will earn the full Bonus Miles (I've done this 2-3 times now) with "either type". See the Terms & Conditions.

"2 The second 15,000 bonus miles will be credited to the cardholder's OnePass account after the first qualifying purchase is made with your Chase Continental Airlines Preferred Debit Card or Chase Continental Airlines Debit Card."

2 things:

1.) I signed up online for a personal account, took about 5 days to fund through the credit card, and my OnePass number automatically showed up under my debit card rewards.

2.) I funded with a Travelocity Mastercard and the funding showed up as a purchase! So I earned rewards on that as well as the 25k I'll get from continental!

Is there a limit on the max. funding? Do you enter the cc all online or fax that in?

$500 max limit funding with a CC on-line. Just enter it on-line.

Sorry if this topic has been covered already, but I can't sift through 40+ pages of posts!

I opened both the Personal and the Business Checking Accounts in Late Decemeber. All of my Bonus Points (50k) have now posted to my OnePass Account.

At this point is it safe to cancel my Business Checking Account? I don't mind keeping the personal, but I don't want to get hit with fees for the Business Checking if i forget to do the 5 debit transactions per month.

Thanks

The general consensus is that it's best to give it 6 months from account opening with Chase.

The fine print says either set up direct deposit, or make five purchases w/i 60 days to earn the 10K miles.

--------------

My question: can multiple checking accounts be linked to the same OP number, or does each account have to be linked to a separate OP number?

The line is "Limit one personal checking account-related reward per customer, per calendar year" and I don't know if customer means Chase account holder or OnePass holder. Thanks!

The rule of thumb is the name on the checking account should match the name on the OP account.

Customer, in my understanding, should mean each person that has a SSN. So that means for both Chase account holder and OP account holder.

Yes, this topic has been covered numerous times.

Like jjwjjw said, the consensus for business checking is 6 months.

For personal checking, one piece of paperworks you took home from opening the account says you have to keep it open for 6 months or miles will be taken away from your OP account. It was even specifically pointed out in one of the older posts up-thread of which paperwork that is.

Still waiting on my debit card. Taking a bit.

Where do you see it online? I cannot find it on my account.

Well, I wasn't sure exactly what you were asking so I deleted my post. Can you elucidate? :)

I opened a personal ck. acct. a few days ago (my first CO Chase acct.) and my new ck. acct. showed up w/in two days when I logged on to my Chase credit card acct.

sdm1130 reported in his post that he can see his onepass account online at chase. I do not see anything like that under my account, even though my bonus points posted properly into my Onepass account. I also do not see any reference of my Onepass account on my Chase Checking account paper/PDF statement. That is why I have asked that question.
