I called the Delta Skymiles number yesterday regarding a pending status match inquiry, and I was told that they get a high volume of requests in the early march timeframe as that's when many airline status programs lapse. Due to the volume, I was told that these requests take 3-4 weeks to process.

It's frustrating cause I'm trying to schedule some travel for late March, and I was hoping to know where I would have status before I booked my flights.

Anyone know the status match criteria for AA Gold to UA? I wonder how many miles do you need to do...

AA gold would match to UA Premier (aka 2P). The challenge requirement is 7500 miles in 90 days.

I asked DL for a match from UA 1K on President's Day (Feb 21st) and today I checked my account again and I'm DL Plat. No notification was sent to me

. I was periodically checking my account, so the match cannot have happened more than 3-4 days ago. I've never flown DL before and I'm curious to see how my SFO-CPH trip will work out.

I only got matched to DL Gold from AA EXP... go figure.

MVP gold matched for AA PLAT

Sent out an email to [email protected] requesting for a status match with a screen shot of my latest AA statement. Checked my Alaskaair profile after 4 hours of sending email and saw the MVP Gold status reflected on there. How soon can I expect to receive my package with the upgrade certs?

How does Delta handle earning the next level of status after a comped status? Example: I am comp'ed Delta Silver and want to earn Gold. Do I have to earn just the additional 25K MQMs / 30MQSs or do I need to earn the full 50K MQMs / 60 MQSs?

I tried searching but found nothing, sorry if this has already been addressed.

Wife is AA Plat. Emailed letter and AA statement to CO yesterday. Upgraded to Gold today for 90 days. Must fly 17,500 miles or 22 segments during the 90 days to maintain gold through current elite year.

Do you know how long your MVP Gold Status would be good for (assuming you don't otherwise qualify based on flying)? I'd like to match from UA 1P to Alaska, but might wait until the point in the year where they also allow you status all through the following year (assuming I can find out the info).

Following your response, I just checked my status with high hopes, I did see a change, I'm now a Delta Gold!

Although I had asked for the Diamond based on US CP so technically it should be Diamond (above 100k miles) or at least Platinum but only got Gold...

Am I being too greedy here or is there something I can do about it!
