|I've read through about 15 pages of this thread and can't find what I'm looking for, even after a search. I've also posted something similar in the BA thread but should have probably posted here first...
I am currently BA Gold but will likely not renew when it comes up in the summer as I've been flying mainly *A. While I have the BA Gold, is there a status match that anyone is aware of? Useful to me would be either UA or CO (not so much AA) or LH, for airline-specific benefits that my other *G card doesn't get me. I have no problem with a 'challenge'. My flights are heavy intra-Europe, probably 10 trans-Atlantics and a fair bit of intra-US.
Thanks
LE

If you had applied in March for the status match to FB Platinum that your BA Gold entitled you to, you could now apply for Lufthansa Senator on the basis of that match...
I'm just wondering if LH will next set up a status-match program aimed at BA members...
(I don't know if you know, but British Midland will most likely match your BA Gold with their DC Gold, which is *G. See the appropriate thread in the British Midland forum)

You can also try CO as they are merging with UA and will match status from either program before full integration in 2012. Good luck.

Try looking at the T&Cs on the website.... 31st July. There's no information about the fare classes
Look at the thread that oliver2002 refers to above - there's a lot of very similar questions being raised

Fairly critical issue - you have to spend big bucks to actually get a fare that earns points.....

FWIW it seems that any fare is eligible - but I agree, it's not entirely clear
