Just got status matched on Alaska to MVP Gold. Currently United Prem Exec. Followed the directions in the thread (nice email with a scan of my card). No problems.

This is great. It's been several years since I was MVP. I fly Alaska 3-4 times a year now, but not enough for status.

It was:
Your Status Match Request (INSERTREALLYLONGNUMBERHERE)

So, I assume it was definitely personalized. Just call AA and they'll shoot you over your own email.

For those that received Alaska matching, did you receive a welcome packet? What was included? I am not expecting anything more than a new card but one can always hope.

When I matched to MVP Gold back in 2009, they sent me a welcome packet with my card, as well as four first class paper upgrades. The upgrades are electronic now (as far as I know). Let us know what you get!

In July 2010 received a package with a new card and 4 paper upgrades that don't expire until 12/2011. ^

I requested match from LH M&M SEN (*G) to Delta. Haven't heard back for two weeks and called. Call center says they usually don't match LH M&M and but they're still reviewing. Does anyone know a way to expedite or know what the answer's going to be? I have to book 3 trips for March (US domestic) by the end of this week.

I've sent them the email last Wednesday, but no response of any kind. I will give them a call towards the end of the week.

edit: and literally 3 minutes later, I get this email

Awesome! I'm trying to do the same thing (transfer AA status to DL), and I faxed them a letter requesting the match and a copy of my AA elite status card. This was about a week ago, and I haven't heard anything back.

I'm about to book a flight for next month and I was hoping to have heard back by now- if I don't get DL to match I was considering trying to get matched on a different airline, and obviously that would change my booking preferences. Does anyone know a number or email that I can try to check on the status of my match before actually checking into a flight?

Has anyone had luck lately using the below link for the 90-day Silver Status trial? In the T&C it states'


Offer valid from May 31, 2010 to August 15, 2010.
But I thought that when my travel dates get closer, I'd go ahead and attempt signing up (and follow up here). I would imagine the link would be removed from the original post if it was expired, and that US Airways would remove the page.

US Airways

US Airways is offering a 90-day Silver status trial for those that have a non-refundable ticket booked on US Airways. Otherwise there are no reports of them status matching as of now.

I am also in same boat, trying to get DL to match my US CP status, sent them fax along with card copy in last week of Feb, still nothing! Pl let me know if you happen to find out a way to expedite or to at least know status of the request...
