I called the Delta Skymiles number yesterday regarding a pending status match inquiry, and I was told that they get a high volume of requests in the early march timeframe as that's when many airline status programs lapse. Due to the volume, I was told that these requests take 3-4 weeks to process.
It's frustrating cause I'm trying to schedule some travel for late March, and I was hoping to know where I would have status before I booked my flights.
