Has anyone who added the AU before Dec. 31 had the 15k bonus points post to their Marriott account? Neither mine or Mr. Fink's have and we added each other prior to Dec. 31, received the cards and each made a purchase. I am planning to call but wondered how quickly others' bonuses have posted or if they in fact have posted.

I haven't gotten my points yet either, but the February points don't post until the eighteenth.

technically the terms and conditions say ten to twelve weeks after the end of the promo period, which is right when the March points post

Good to know. I'll give it until the next statement to post before calling.

If you have to ask...

All kidding aside, I don't think it has anything beyond the Amex Platinum level of perks. Here's a RedFlagDeals thread on it: http://forums.redflagdeals.com/most-...e-card-556782/

I don't know about the RBC VI card, but the TD VI card grants automatic Premier status at Fairmont.

That's the TD VIP card though, not the regular VI card.

Hard to know the full extent of the benefits of this RBC card since it is mostly for Private Wealth Management clients.

I hear ya - I saw those and decided I'm happy with my Amex Plat. I'm just getting annoyed with aeroplan and it's limitations. Might have to look in to transferring those points down the line. Avion is just soo much more flexible - that's why I decided to inquire about the RBC VI - seems like it's a tad out of reach at this point in time

February points have now posted into my account and I will confirm that my 15k has NOT shown up yet either.

Guess we really are going to wait until the next statement

One chain that Rocketmiles seems to price the same as their best available rates (ie not AAA) is Delta Hotels here in Canada. Earning 4,000 Miles instead of the 500 offered from Delta Privilege or even 1,000 on subsequent Rocketmiles bookings just seems like the better bet unless you know you'll have 5 or more stays to earn Delta Privilege status.

On a side note I wonder what Delta will offer when they revamp their program later this year.....

This is for new sign-up only, isn't it? Also, no 3X bonus either. So, being existing UPS Get More member, you do not get this 700 Aeroplan bonus. Did I miss some detail?

Until February 28, 2014, earn an extra 200 bonus Aeroplan Miles on your first transaction as a Get More member at The UPS Store. That's in addition to the 500 bonus miles you already receive upon your first transaction as a Get More member.
