I know there are links with FYF that expire on Aug 31. Not sure about RFD but they should(?) have the extended promo as well.

Does the "91 days rule" (e.g. applying for multiple credits cards on the same day every 91 days) really works in Canada?
If this is true, Cerenity, the 91 days doesn't work in Canada. The 91 days rule is relying on the fact that your credit file doesn't get updated on the same day you make the inquiry.
Clearly, each credit card companies keeps track of the applications you made with them on that day, so that's why the "91 days rule" doesn't allow you to apply with the same company more than once.
But if what Cerenity says is true, and Capital One has a way of knowing you applied for a credit card from another company that same day, that means the "91 days rule" doesn't work as it works in the USA...

in that regard, the american 91 day strategy is pretty useless here, because (at least so i thought) it is mainly used to get approvals before lenders realize you are doing a lot of apps.
the main reason i mentioned the clean 90 days prior to app is that i think i recall reading that C1 will actually decline you if you had any hard inquiries within the last 90 days. so i'd rather play it safe and apply for that first, even if doing it all on the same day.
personally i schedule my apps in 3 month cycles because
1. it helps with keeping track
2. its about how long it takes for the credit score to recover from a new account/hard hit

well, personally i dont think the lenders are that strict in Canada in terms of not having any apps in the past 90/91 days. i've applied for 3 cards on 3 separate days within a couple weeks of each other, and been approved for all 3.

I updated the Wiki a bit, also added link to my RFD thread as it's maintained more frequently there.
We have quite a few CC threads on FT and it's hard to be up-to-date on all threads - TD Aeroplan, AMEX *, CIBC, Chase Marriott
IMO, this thread Wiki should only contain NON-AMEX offers, as all AMEX offers are in the
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...da-2015-a.html Wiki
so I've removed AMEX offers, expired Cap1 Aspire from the Wiki

And there are already threads for the Marriott, TD, and Alaska cards, too. Any particular reason you decided to single out Amex?
That's the problem with Wikis. One person can so easily destroy them for everyone.
Does anyone have the Amex information to add to the Wiki?

Well, people can open Wikis and view history, and paste AMEX offers back if they want to
Click [Edit] -> View History, do whatever you like
You may edit the Wiki once you have been on FT for 90 days and have made 90 posts.
I'm the one who maintains the Wikis in the AMEX thread as well, so anybody who want the previous AMEX offers to go back in the Wiki, just go copy-and-paste, or link to "Churning Amex" thread.
Oh wait, it's already linked in the Wiki - AMEX, Chase, etc...
I'm done with Wikis
and that is why I maintain my thread on RFD, and with links to each offer's dedicated thread, and get thanked

It is a pity heavy contributors to FT have a go at each other.
This is a GREAT thread maintained by GREAT contributors who SHARE their time, intel and experience. Anyone leaving here for another forum makes FT less useful.
It is pity there is no "thanks" button on FT, with all the great info on here it really should be there. It is not because there is no "thanks" message that one is not thankful, imagine the amount of "thanks" messages in a thread like this one, cloaking up the thread from the splendid information that is shared. I know I didn't post a bunch of thanks with that in mind.
And, I know I'll participate at 90
Maybe I should do 90 "thanks" messages

Someone should add the new NBC offer, which is 22,000 points worth $200 after $1000 spending, FYF.
(the offer is in fact 20,000 points at activation, but since you can only exchange points in increments of 11,000 points (worth of $100), it is better that you wait after that $1000 of spending)

i.e. people should go for better offers (AMEX, TD, CIBC, Chase) before NBC
speaking of which, I gave in and updated the Wiki again to add the CIBC Business Aeroplan offer - 20K Aeroplan, FYF, very good offer
