Same here. Their system sucks and someone should be fired there. I then went to a branch to apply for that offer and the people at the branch had no idea what the offer was.

Glad to know that I am not the only one. Phone reps say it is a browser problem but that hasn't changed anything for me...

They contacted MBNA (about the Alaska card) a few weeks ago and now the issue is solved.

We just got the AF rebate on the recent TD AP Visa Infinite card that we got. The statement was mid May before I received the card. AF was credited back on June 2.
I called in to shift credit limit from a Gold card (old TD AP visa) and also checked my AP # and it was already correctly in the file.
sounds like at least they fixed those AF & AP # issues...
This app was done over the phone in the end (glitch caused incorrect decline) with the GCR offer code attached by a phone rep, so that part seems to be working too

no, they said my approval did not show up in the reports sent from TD, so they will have to do things manually
i made the request just before end of May, so they've sent it in as part of their June 1 batch, and said I should hear back by 2nd half or end of June.

I decided not to continue the process because of this. One hard pull for nothing!

TD's entire process with the aeroplan card has been an uphill battle. Application issues, rebate issues, aeroplan number issues, clueless agents and bonus issues. It all worked out for me in the end (after numerous phone calls to TD), but the process was anything but easy. I would say it is worth it if you have the time and patience.

I second. Count at least 30 minutes for the original application (first internet, then phone) and then unidentified but much more time for callbacks which many have needed.
Only worth it if you have the time and patience.

I know it's not the end of TD's horrible application process @@
In comparison, my 2 CIBC applications in the last 2 months were super smooth (haven't see Aeroplan miles posted, but I am not too worried after experience with TD over 3 statements to get my 25K AP miles)

I would use the Chase Marriott for car rentals, since the Chase Amazon.ca Visa does not offer this insurance, otherwise, everything else 'foreign' goes onto the Amazon card.
If you pre-load either one of these Chase Visa cards with a positive credit balance before your trip, then CC cash advances at a Visa machine will not incur the daily interest charges, just a $5 minimum fee plus the associated ATM fee, if any. Use this as an emergency backup cash fund source.
