No issue applying for the BMO World Elite in February after applying for the TD Infinite & Amex Gold in late December/early January. Had to provide proof of income, however.

It is however confusing as there is a:
BMO CashBack World Elite with 1.75% cash back on all purchases
BMO World Elite with 2% travel credit
Arguably though, one could expect for both cards to have the same requirements.
Were you a current BMO or recent (<3months) BMO customer when you applied?

The card didn't exist in February, it was only launched in May (22nd I believe) this year.

I actually have had the BMO World Elite twice now, the first time was back in 12/2013, used the 30000 bmo rewards ($300.00) to book hotels in Italy. I had already had a bmo mastercard and switched to world elite for the bonus and fyf. I just got it again a couple of months ago and am waiting for my bonus points still, but received my priority pass kit.

Does any Canadian MSer have looked into Payso.ca for MS? Works exactly like Paypal/Amazon Payments and allow to send money for free between personal accounts.
You link a Credit Card to send payments and bank account to receive payments. With 2 accounts one could easily get free spending while minimizing the risk of being red-flagged for fraud.
FYI, there is currently a $5 signup bonus through referral. PM Canadian phone # if you want referral link.

Reading the FAQ section there seems to be a few limitations:
- Visa or MC only, no AMEX
- max $125/transaction or $500 with verified by visa or MC securecode
- need to send in a copy of your passport if you're doing more than $1,000 per year
The no amex is a bummer, but i suppose there's still the TD aeroplan

We should all send emails requesting for Amex to be accepted.
I could not verify the $5 referral, not on google not on payso's site?

In their FAQ they are suggesting for personal to personal payments that they are eating the fee and when businesses adopt it they'll charge them fees.
So I can't see them being too happy if anyone really abuses this.
To ask them to accept AMEX would be asking them to take an even bigger hit - then again, I'm one of those guys who feels guilty using AMEX at smaller shops (if they take it.)

My bad, the referral is one-time offer where you can refer 3 friends. You get $5 for each friend referred, and they get $3. Still, a tad better than the $1 they offer on the website.

This is a new app apparently, according to their FAQs, they intend to allow payments at online merchants at some point, la Paypal.
As a reminder, please remain considerate in your MS usage and do not kill this deal.

not sure if others are running into issues registering payso on both iphone and ipad? The DOB field is not accessible, and when tapped often crashes the app. Can't get it registered.

I originally only got approved for the RBC Avion Platinum, not the Infinite (got approved for the TD Infinite though after making a phone call, go figure), but anyway, with the way RBC Rewards works it'll be my main spending CC so I wanna keep the the Avion Infinite ofc... but for now I'm stuck with the Avion Platinum. When it comes to changing/when the year is near done, would the best way not to lose my RBC rewards point be:
A) Transfer from RBC to AA when there's the transfer promo on
B) Remaining points right before cancellation, transfer to Esso Extra
C) Cancel RBC Avion Platinum
D) Apply for RBC Avion Infinite
E) Re-convert Esso Extra to RBC Rewards at no net loss, since it's 1500=2500 either way (?)
does that sound about right? Or how much time do I have to leave between cancelling the Platinum and applying for the Infinite, does anyone have any experience with this?
