It is however confusing as there is a:
BMO CashBack World Elite with 1.75% cash back on all purchases
BMO World Elite with 2% travel credit
Arguably though, one could expect for both cards to have the same requirements.
Were you a current BMO or recent (<3months) BMO customer when you applied?

Ah yes, I was referring to the BMO World Elite (2% travel version). Had no relationship with BMO prior, whether it be credit cards or everyday banking. Thanks for the welcome!
