My rep knew exactly what I was talking about when I called. I didn't even say "6664" - she said it first.
I didn't qualify. My PRG account is from May.
She also laboriously listed every bonus I've qualified for to show why I shouldn't get it. Problem is, she listed things I never got.
Finally, getting exasperated, she said that I got 101K points on this account already, including a 75K usage bonus, and a 65K manual bonus, and some others.
I said, are you serious? 65 + 75 alone is 140? How is that totaled into 101?
"I'm just reading what I see on the screen."
In any event, something tells me Amex is going to be much, much more careful after letting this bonus get out in the wild.

I called this morning to apply for 6664 and MR was about to add when I inquired the specific of this promo which is lst year wavied for annual fee, 15 transaction per month for 10k for lst 5 months and 15k upon signing. As this seems like a duplicate of what I am already going to get with 5985 bump to 75k , I didn't want to double dip so i asked if I could qualify for both. She said no multiple offers and I already have the best offer.
I don't feel bad not accepting 6664. I want to remain a good customer for whenever I need to call for things..All MRs have been very very good to me.

Called to inquiry about my amex PRG card that I had since 2009, the representative seemed like she knew what the promo was about but she basically said that if u were solicited for it, it would apply automatically. I (lied) and told her I received an e-mail about it but I wasn't sure it applied to my card, and wanted to make sure it was notated on my account. She said she notated it but for some reason, I don't feel so confident... Prob call back in a few weeks to make sure. She said every month after your statement, 6-8 weeks the 10,000 points should automatically be processed. I will call in 4 weeks for my July statement.

I should have called at 11xx pm est time but it was late and I was tired in getting the 5721 for adding AU done correctly ...
