I said i wasn't going to try and double dip. Read post #1, #4, and #87. No reason to be confused.

Got the same message. Called the number you provided, spoke with a female CSR, and she said all she could see was that it was being processed. According to her, no decision had been made.... hrmmmmmmph!

I decided to call Chase (888-270-2127) to see if I could get the process moved along faster especially if they had questions for me that I could answer. They asked for my social to look up the application and said the account was approved and was just waiting an account number. They said I would receive the card in ten days.

When asked why it said the account was being reviewed they just said some accounts aren't approved instantly, but nearly so, and thus it spits back that message.

I'm pretty chuffed with the result!

British Airways uses the British term "return" instead of the US term "roundtrip", but it means the same thing. (Ie, in British terminology, a "return fare" is what we in the US know as a "roundtrip fare".)

I just tried applying online. Used my employer's US address instead. We'll see what happens!

Before you get too excited, you might want to check the fees. Europe, for the most part, is a pricey destination with BA miles, since they started charging YQ on AA flights.
