Looking for a mileage run from Denver

Departure Airport: DEN
Miles Needed:23,500
Required Spend or Budget: under $1k
Available Travel Dates: 3 or 4-day weekends 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Prefer UNited but whatever will give full PQM

First time posting here, but I have been a lurker for a couple of years.

I will get platinum, by the end of this month. Not sure what Nov brings for work travel, but I figure somewhere around 3k miles. If I am going to go for 1K I'll need 22k-25k miles. I am looking at DEN to PEK for $621 just about every weekend. I have a China visa due to PEK mileage run last year. I will also be in LA 10/27 so see a few options from LA that w/e that look interesting like Taiwan, but no more miles (can shave one day though and only need to spend one night, while PEK requires about 48 hours on the ground for the good fares). Hopefully wherever I go has Radisson, Hilton or Marriott nearby since I have points on all of them.

I don't know ITA well enough to figure out how to add stops to bring the miles up from 16,600k in just a DEN PEK trip through ORD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Flyertalk spon^

You are looking for a lot of miles for a very low price this time of year. I'd lock down on of those PEK fares ASAP.

As for ITA try using UA+ as the advanced routing code and see what comes back. I haven't look at that particular fare but it will take a big bite out of what you need, and there are some good SJU fares that could help you round of the rest.

A couple of suggestions:

On the DEN-PEK r/t route, you can earn a few more miles if you depart ex-COS and/or route through ORD/IAD/EWR.
If you have extra time, you can consider nesting trips eg. DEN-PEK-ORD-PEK-DEN. PEK-ORD r/t can be purchased for as low as $500.

Thanks zoqfotpik! I didn't even think of COS start. That adds 1k and only $4 to the fare!

I should have mentioned the DEN-PEK trips are either through ORD or SFO. I was planning ORD due to the extra miles. Using Google flights I don't see that I can route through EWR or IAH before hitting SFO or ORD, but maybe in ITA I could somehow make the routing longer? The problem with all the easy tools is that they are not optimized for many hops, but for the common traveler with minimal hops.

Appreciate the advice so far and any more to help me get more hops per trip.

In Google flights go to connecting airports and then select ewr or iah and presto change-o. The Airlines sometimes block excessive hopes that track backwards. So den-ewr-sfo-pek might fail.

You can fly IAH-LAX-IAH on some days for $111, this is 2758 miles. If you can do this six times, you'll have what you need within your budget. NYC and BOS are good possibilities in the same mileage range. Samples of each are below. You could also consider IAH-LAX-IAH with an embedded LAX-EWR-LAX trip - this would get you about half of what you need and be in the $400 to $500 range.
