Wow these are amazing. But sooo much flying time. Do you think I could achieve the same result with business ticket (which gets 2x pqm) and have shorter flights/stay domestic?

For those looking to book a similar itinerary, I just got confirmation that this would require a Chinese visa. TWOV isn't possible as GUM and LAX are part of US.

UA Mileage Run In December out of LAX
I'm looking for a mileage run in mid December (preferably the 17th) out of LAX (or somewhere close by with a positioning) to earn me 13,406 PQM's to qualifiy for 1K. Any ideas? The one other thing is that right now I am 1,418 PQM's away from PP. Is there any (cheapish) way to get me to PP before my next flight which is in December?
EDIT: I didn't specify that I am not able to fly until December 17th as I am around Europe and I get back to LA on the 17th so I was wondering if I could buy or figure out some other way to get the 1500 PQM's without flying

I could safe travel time and buy 10,000 pqm for $1250 today
Then whats the cheapest 6000 mile run?
Or I could buy 5000pqm , for $750, then whats the cheapest 11,000 mile run?

For 11000, EWR to SFO is $261 many days in early December. Do this twice, then do EWR-ORD-EWR for $111 to get the remaining miles.
