However, the other reason why I was looking elsewhere was the possible incorporation of ORD into the mix since I travel there every month.
You can try PHX-ORD-EWR-BQN-EWR-ORD-SFO-PHX in J for ~$1,200. Earns ~17,000 PQM's. This includes a stopover in ORD.

I saw BQN in a different thread after I posted, but not this combo. The more I look at it, the more I think this might be one that I'll do. That and I've never been to PR...

Thanks so much!

ORD-LAX-PVG-GUM-HNL-LAX-ORD for $590, earns ~18,200 PQMs (3.2cpm).
https://goo.gl/flights/pwfg

It's an ORD-PVG fare, but allows you to do an immediate turn to GUM.

Edit: Stopvover in GUM isn't allowed

MR from SJC preferred or SFO

Hello UA and *A friends, would appreciate some help for a good MR per below:

Departure Airport: SJC preferred / SFO is okay too
Miles Needed: 5,000 PQM
Required Spend or Budget: <500
Available Travel Dates: anytime now through December
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: UA metal for the PQM

Would prefer to take some long hauls if possible so I may use my excess balance of RPU's for upgrade to first if possible, 180 lie flats preferred to make this a painless MR as possible.

Many thanks and safe travels dear friends..

SFO-EWR-SFO day trip is $261 every day from 12/1 to 12/15, over 5000 miles. SFO to HNL or OGG is $438 a few days, for example 12/1.

BFS-HNL r/t in J for €1.477. It's a seasonal fare to HNL, so you have to search for dates that work for you..Books in P which I believe earns 100% on TK.

2 Stopovers permitted, 1 free and another for a fee. Check this thread for more details:

Wow, this is an incredible run. You can change the first segment to ORD-SFO-LAX to get extra miles using the multiple-destination search option. If you have UA Gold status or above, you can do the same day change to the last segment (from LAX-ORD to LAX-IAH-ORD) to gain more miles. A RPU will upgrade most of the segments except for LAX-PVG and GUM-HNL if UA has not fixed the loophole. Enjoy.

Found it through brute force . Pretty sure it's used by many but not widely publicized. I'm not that experienced with upgrades, but how can you tell which segments can be upgraded?

I meant J as in business class, but it books in P. You can stopover in NYC or BOS on the return and pick up a separate paid or award ticket back to Europe. So next time you come back to US you get a free return trip. I'm not sure if there's any other deals around your price point. For the miles you need, anything under €1k in business class and *A is hard to come by.

I have the chance to buy up to 2000miles for A3 for 25EUR/500miles so i can be ok with a run of 4.600miles.

I would prefer A3 flights since i have some free business upgrade coupons left but the point is to maintain my status at the lowest cost.

Looking for a fast mile run , even within the same day or 1-2 days max.

Many thanks for reading and waiting for your help.

Anyone willing to help?
Thanks!
I think you need a couple of trips on A3 to do this. Just select a city pair and date. Here a few examples below:

ATH-MAD

ATH-LHR

ATH-CPH
