And coincidentally the 15th time someone has corrected them.

Fares going up as FTers snag low buckets?

I just submitted a search and the price went up by $30—from $301 to $331 (or, erm, from $1 to $31, and that's Canadian pricing to boot, eh). I wonder if all the cheap seats have been snapped up. If everyone opts out at LAS security is going to be a mess.

I'm flying out Saturday afternoon. Upgraded to FC on one segment.

I just hope I don't have to deal with the NOS for the first time.

Wow, I drop off FT for a few hours and the the place turns into a zoo...

I booked a grand total of one trip, to New York City, weekend of Dec 4th-5th. I'm somewhat excited to be flying on two Continental 757s, and even a 767-400ER. I better get upgraded.

I sat on it for too long and missed all the really dumpy hostels, and had to pay slightly more for throwaway hotel. I'm tempted to book another trip to Vegas but I don't need the miles and not a big fan of Vegas. If this thing is still on tomorrow I'll probably give in. Staying at FS, Bellagio, or Wynn Encore for free is pretty unbelievable.

I think alot of people are also heading to NYC first weekend in December, shall we organize a DO? I'm not sure where I'll be staying yet.

Inventory control won't allow $300 tickets to fill the entire plane. Once $300 seats are filled, price will jump to higher class and so forth.

It seems you have answered your own question. Guess I was wrong. Seems folks from Vancouver, literate and illiterate, need to book hotels too, just like the rest of us. Guess you didn't need me after all, huh?

lol, with the exchange rate at 1.017 today CAD:USD, once the credit card company adds their fees, you guys will end up paying a 1% markup on these Canadian prices

I booked two weekend trips to Vegas from SFO on the weekend of the 3rd and 10th. Was too late to get the $300 even fairs, had to settle for $36 and $57.

On the second, I had to book a throwaway segment and booked a VX leg separately with better times.

Oh, I know. It's amusing that Expedia's mistake fare and FT are filling up planes at midnight on a Friday night. I guess that says something about out social lives

So I am guessing this will make the news. I hope they release some stats on how many tickets were issued. Think about it - this has been one of the few fares that was affordable for everyone.

Has anyone actually called Expedia to confirm their bookings????
or are we all just waiting to see if it'll be honored?

I'm charged the flight on my credit card and no credit yet......what now?
The code saids starts in an hour? (or it could be a typo and its infact midnight TODAY and ends in an hour)
Should I cancel this booking and book again?

Any insights???
