  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Yeah I have been stalking BOS-ICN business class for November travel for a long time, and have been very close to pulling the trigger on BOS-EU coach, EU-ICN via EK, for what is roughly the same price as BOS-ICN on AA/UA business.

Still kicking myself for not jumping on the AA sale to Japan earlier this year.

DL/AZ DFW/MIA/LAX/BOS - MAD from $1622 ai

MADness has returned. On DL and AZ for sure. Not sure what other airlines are matching.

DL fare basis is SB58US, so not an UP fare. Could someone figure out when this sale ends?

50 day advance purchase, 8 night min stay

No effective and expiration date loaded so these are in place through Jan 14.

Sample fares:

DFW-MAD $1622 ai
BOS-MAD $1715 ai
MIA-MAD $1807 ai
LAX-MAD $1822 ai

I'm sure other PODs are included, but these are the ones that I searched.

Yeah, cool! I just bought flights yesterday when the DFW-MAD fare was $1911, booking into "A" and "S" with a fare basis code of "U." So I cancelled them and rebooked essentially the same reservation in mid-June for $1661.75 a.i. The domestic segments now book into "P" instead of "A." And I also noticed that the base fare has dropped from $1378 to $658, with taxes now at a total of $1003, with the bulk belonging to a YR of $856. Wow!

Be careful YYZ-BCN-YYZ is most likely the AC codeshare with domestic first style business seats.

DL is giving me $1887 for MOT (Minot) - MAD, August 24 - Sept 2. This is a great deal that I might have to pull the trigger on. I don't see UA matching this right now. MSP is about $400 more. MOT is only 4 hours by car from YQR, so it would save me having to buy a positing flight to DFW or another portal.

PSP-MAD UA, UA+
Seems like fare not available past August. A few bucks more than DL/KL.

Exactly. IIRC, AC uses some older 763's on leisure routes like BCN and DUB that do not have the 'pods'. Check the seat map to be sure.

You might get this:

instead of this
