  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

Wow, that's a great price for first class ^ Pity there is no equivalent one-way fare ex ICN.

Still there. Make sure you're allowing for the 10 day minimum stay... no quick turns permitted. Good luck!

OK Thanks. My original itin was for 11 nights, not even including the overnight on the eastbound. I started using DL.com's flexible date calendar, and am finding some availability now,but inventory seems to be very limited to a handful of dates.

Good fares though $1782ai MIA>MAD on DL.

Be careful with this itinerary, the MAD-YYZ flight is operated with a domestic first style J cabin with only a 38-40" pitch. From the Air Canada website:

Please note: New cabin interior - featuring personal touch-screen TVs or lie-flat Executive First Suites - is not available on three B767-300 (763) aircraft that operate flights between Canada and certain international locations, including:

Athens (ATH), Greece
Madrid (MAD), Spain
Cancun (CUN), Mexico
Dublin (DUB), Ireland
Maui/Kahului (OGG) and Oahu/Honolulu (HNL), Hawaii
Montego Bay (MBJ), Jamaica,
Varadero (VRA), Cuba

This books into P class on AC. According to the UA website it only ears 100% miles. But UA also lists P as a discounted economy fare.

That list will change during the next few months as effective July 1, 2013, 2 of those 3 planes get flipped to AC's new discount line, rouge. So after then, MAD or DUB or both will be back to regular lie-flat seats (currently it's showing both as lie-flat after July 1).

No, these book into Z on AC. Generally UA/LH filed P fares are filed as Z for AC if they match.

That's correct. On AC, these book into Z, which gets 150% PQMs on UA.

I actually thought that this was supposed to be one of the first AA 77W routes, but in any case the 772 has 180 lay flat F -- materially more comfortable than old KE J.

I don't believe that DFW-ICN is due for the 77W anytime soon.

~$2500 Canada - S. Africa

see J fares to JNB, exYYZ/YUL/YOW ~ $2500

Seeing other very reasonable prices in BIZ to other cities in Africa too for around 3K.

MOW-SYD on VN (via SGN or HAN and SGN) is USD 3K RT in D.

Just USD 300 less than other Asian destinations. Maybe available from other European cities, but VN prices are not transparent (often require same country of sale).
The average economy price is approx 1,300 for this route if purchased in advance.
