Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

JFK-GYE, pretty much any dates on AA in the spring. Books into A/I. Around $1k AI. Plenty of routings available.

This one is not a mistake. LAN has been advertising it on their site for a few days. Got too distracted by the SCL fiasco to investigate further.

5/5-5/11 routing SAN-DFW-MÍA-EZE and same on return for $1,659 ai on Orbitz. First in AA on domestics, Business on Lan MIA-EZE

Not as good as others but something from west coast.

Also SNA seems to be same price.

That's even better than the old NW fare ex Philippines... miss those days.

As for crediting, I was under the impression that all paid biz fares on CZ will credit to DL at 150% MQMs. **(EDIT) - Just saw that after March 1st there is a serious ding in earnings rates for DL. Ouch. That's just plain awful, 75% MQMs for paid business class, 50% EQMs for full fare Y Economy. WOW!

Where did you find this fare and what is to fare code? I can't find anything near this on Expertflyer.

Not seeing anything less than $3900. The CAN-LAX segment is on the A380 though.

The fare rules have this interesting nugget:

Sadly I can't get an all-AA itinerary (e.g. OSA-TYO-JFK on JL codeshares) to price out on ITA, but perhaps an enterprising TA can do it.

This fare does not exist in the GDS as far as I can tell, so it's either some kind of consolidator or unpublished fare. Would you be able to share the rules and travel dates you saw for this fare?

Edit: there is a base fare of exactly USD1,098, but it books into M (economy) and has slightly different rules.

Please call 632-354-1888 up to Feb 20 2013 Manila time only. This is a promo J fare offered during Travel and Tour Expo and still bookable from Manila ticket office
