  • Fare feels too good to be true? Don't call the airline!!!!!!
  • Double check that the fare is actually in Business or First as some online search engines or OTA's confuse booking classes on some airlines.
  • Post as many details as possible about the First / Business fare, including fare class, fare basis, one-way / roundtrip, sales channel, sample dates & total price, including taxes.
  • Post the details within the thread itself and not in the post title field as any information typed here cannot be seen by members accessing the thread using mobile devices.
  • Refrain from posting fare requests or engaging in off topic debates such as fare trends, specific aircraft configuration or visa requirements
  • The deeply discounted international fares discussed here are almost always specific to a certain country of origin, so don't ask if it works in reverse (e.g. a SFO-LHR-SFO fare usually won't work LHR-SFO-LHR). Domestic fares more commonly work in reverse.
  • Last, but not least, Don't call the Airline!

DL/KL/AF: NYC-CDG/MAD/BCN for $1,600+ rt a/i. Books in Z.

UA/DL/KL/AF: NYC-LHR/DUB/MAN for $1,400+ rt a/i. Books in P or Z.

Haven't checked any other city pairs but all fairly consistent and similar to last year.

Regular thanksgiving rules: OUTBOUND - PERMITTED 24NOV 13 THROUGH 29NOV 13 FOR EACH TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR. INBOUND - PERMITTED 29NOV 13 THROUGH 04DEC 13 FOR EACH TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.
The warmest destination in Europe around that time probably is Malta:

JFK-FRA-MLA-FRA-JFK, 11/24-12/1, $2115.20 ai (P). About 22 cpm not counting bonuses.

It doesn't require DL metal, I'm talking about Skyteam metal. Generally, you can't accrue miles (except in AZ own FFP) if the flight is operated by an airline who is not a Skyteam member. Not an expert with Skymiles, but 100% sure regarding Flying Blue.

I got a 20% off coupon from AA via e-mail for flights from ConUS to Brazil, so I decided to look at flights.

LOTS of <$2000 a/i r/t business class fares from ORD to MAO for Aug and September (low season in Brazil). Slightly higher to GIG.

With the 20% off coupon, I can get for example:

ORD-CLT-MIA-MAO-MIA-JAX-ORD for $1428 all in. Keep in mind that MIA-MAO is on a 738, so the GIG flights, while more expensive, will be a better experience.
Many other routes available too.
Haven't tried from anywhere buy ORD, but assume there are other cities available.

Awfully tempting. I know it's winter, but it's not like it ever really gets cold in the Amazon.

AA is still operating flights with the old recliners to GIG. Hardly worth the $$$.

AA First Class SFO-EZE

AA is offering SFO-EZE return, all in F for $3775-$4000. ai

Best price is 10 day stay in EZE. The routing I looked at was SFO-JFK (3 class 762) with transcon F service connecting to a 3 class 777 to EZE. Same for return. 50 day advance purchase. Min 10 days for +500 more min 7 days. Best price fly Mon-Thurs. ( My flight July 29- Aug 12 priced at 3999. at AA.com)

15736 base miles mi. + 50% F QFM and status bonus??=

(beware it is winter in Argentina now, but a little wine, and nice steak, perhaps a nice woman or 2 and song or 3 will warm you up!)

There may be better F Fares out there, but FYI.

(I missed the cheap business fares several months ago for half the price, but if you must fly First Class here it is. (I like First) Not a super RGN type fare but FYI..

Saw on AA.com, while looking for a birthday present for me me me.

Cheers!

They're angled-flat ON THE 763, not ideal but I wouldn't call them recliners.

FWIW I also got a 20% off offer as well, though only to a few destinations in Brazil.

I flew to GIG last month on a paid ticket with AA, likely where I got the offer from.

BOS-GIG in J is showing as $4400 during the dates as of now, no 20% off is going to get me to book that, definitely NOT a deal .

I got the offer and I've never flown AA to Brazil...and I haven't flown AA on a revenue flight in over a year.

UA: SFO - AUA RT $1085 a.i. in Business

Booked a great Labor Day weekend (48 hours) in AUA via EWR. Looks good July through EOS. Booked all in "P"--pretty much same fare as Economy. 9046 PQM x 150% bonus seemed like a good deal.

Even managed to snag a 757 flat-bed BF on the SFO-EWR red-eye on the outbound--domestic 752/3 F configuration on the others.

Requires a 6 night minimum from what I can see though. Also no opportunity to go into international 3-class F via SWU at that price.
