How is that despicable? It's included in the fare. Fuel is an expense that is included in the cost of transporting a passenger. It should be included in the fare. It's not like you could ever have flown TATL business class for <$1,500 r/t this time of year.

To my knowledge, the primary purpose of separating out the fuel from the rest of the fare is in order to avoid taxation and other fees on that component part of the passenger's total payment. One person's tax avoidance ^ is another person's tax scam . Depending on the circumstance, I happen to "despise" tax scammers. Each to their own.

Not sure if this has been posted before. Bookable until 31 July. BKK and SIN seem particularly good value. Apparently now mileage-worthy on AA...??? To be confirmed.

Flew EY paid F about 8 months ago and received full credit to AA.

If I understand the rules, booking EY earns AA miles but they're not status-earning. Presumably the AA codeshare fares, with 'full benefits', are higher?
