I think it's racist from the airlines to offer these kind of prices to yanks only...

One does not have to have the Yankee nationality to buy these fares - one can have the Brit nationality, too.

just a reminder of an earlier posted run.

ITS TK. YYZ-IST-KUL is $2820 ai in business class you can get more flights from JFK-IST-KUL, almost the same price. IST-KUL is on Malaysian Airlines and is not a daily flight. This deal ends in Nov and has been around at least 2 years.

Somewhere people posted where Malaysian airlines miles can be posted to?? I cant remember. you can find the fare on ITA there are D and J fares and price can be higher with J fares.
Enjoy.

Most are matching, and MAD/BCN are priced similarly on OneWorld airlines, some *A too. CDG $2165 on AF too. Typical discounted business summer fare, but nice to see it this close to August ^

You used to be able to credit to NW but only flown miles, no status. I'm not sure if DL kept the deal.

BTW, MH is set to join OW at some point soon...

Yup, DL takes MH miles, but as I guessed, not status miles. Still get COS bonus tho':

Won't work for DL as it is a TK codeshare, DL accrual is based on marketing carrier not operating carrier.

Shortly? End of year, isn't it? I guess it depends on when the flights are happening.

It's actually unlikely to happen until next year.

Indeed...I'm guessing 2013 myself!

So my 2013 trip to Syd will most likely be on MH....^^^

Since its a TK codeshare, you can certainly put the miles in TK's program which I don't think is all too bad. As often as TK comes up for MR's these days, may not be a bad place to put extra *A miles.

EY: Pretty good fares from Paris in August

E.g., some round-trip fares

-- CDG-AUH-KUL: $2,386
-- CDG-AUH-CGK: $2,298
-- CDG-AUH-BKK: around $2,320 (also from LHR)
-- CDG-AUH-DOH/MCT/RUH: around same as above (non-stop to AUH $2,505)
-- CDG-AUH-PEK: around $2,200 (similar fare for QR and also QR to PVG)
-- CDG-AUH-BOM/DEL: around $2,200
-- CDG-AUH-JNB: $2,413
-- CDG-AUH-ICN: $2,517

Sample dates: 08/17-08/24. Some of these fares seem to work only on or very close to those dates, while others seem to be more widely available in August.
