Didn't Hopkins buy two of the Snow Rd parking lots last year (or 2014)? They're still operated independently, but I swore I read about this somewhere awhile ago.

They did, for $67 million.

Park N' Fly is the only independent lot remaining.

My usual airport is DCA. "Economy" parking - a 10-15 minute bus ride away - is now $17 a day. CLE is a comparative bargain.

Uber is the way to go now that parking has gotten so expensive.

^ EWR is $18 / day with a similar type of bus / shuttle ride to the terminals.

How come they took out most of the moving sidewalks on the new garage, It used to run all the way to the old garage. My last trip attempting to park in the economy surface lot that replaced the old garage would not let any one in because the credit card scanners were broke at the enterence so i parked at the Sheraton at a higher rate. When this happens they should let us park in the new garage and charge us for the economy lot rate.

Flying a UA segment in October from IAH to CLE. This flight used to be on an ERJ-145 for the longest time. Now it's on a 737-800. That's a big capacity jump!

Actually, it's the other way around. It used to be all mainline.

For those complaining about the rental car shuttle location it's now located at door 4 on the baggage claim level.

True, during the hub years. I was thinking more about recent past. Late 2015, early 2016.

Were there any other off-Airport Parking Shuttles there? (I hope)

I've been on 737s a few times earlier this year CLE-IAH. I had hoped it was a permanent change, until I got a "schedule" change notification that my flight in Dec 2016 is back to being an E145. 😞

No, rental car shuttle is the only curbside shuttle. All other shuttles will remain in the limo lot henceforth. (Until, perhaps, CLE gets less idiotic/passenger unfriendly management)

It seems the it's a pretty random mix between E145s, E175s, and 73X and A3X depending on time of day/day of week/time of year. I had a CLE-LAS-CLE trip earlier this year and one of the auto-rebookings was either CLE-IAH or IAH-CLE on an E145. I called and said I wasn't OK with spending that much time on a 145 under any circumstances and it wasn't a problem getting rebooked on mainline.
