2 nights
So let's say I am going to SF in December for two nights. If I book it as one reservation I would only get $100 bonus bucks. However, if I book it as two separate ones I would get $100 bonus bucks each night?
|
Never mind. I answered my own question. Wouldn't give me the rate for 1 night in SF only if I did two.
|
Bonus Bucks Question
I have never used them before. Do you use them to pay when you check out of your future reservation?
|
No Hawaii hotels...:(

$100 Bonus BucksŪ Coupon is valid on a future consecutive two-night weekend minimum paid stay Thursday through Sunday at any participating JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, and Renaissance Hotels. Friday or Saturday night stay required. Bonus Bucks coupon expires (3) months from date of issuance. One coupon issued per room, per stay upon check-in at the property and can be applied during a future two-night minimum stay toward the room rate. A stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. Not applicable to groups of ten rooms or more. Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer, discount coupon, sale, promotion, or prior purchase. Void where prohibited. The few instances where these BB's may be of value: *You're weekend rate is under $100/night (including tax) *You're staying at a property that is excluded from the EEO's *You're staying during the week-window between EEO's |

These BB's seem pretty restrictive as in most cases the EEO offer is superior (since these BB's can only be used on weekends).

(Many FTers have stated they don't eat/value breakfast and in the locations I checked I could find superior non-breakfast rates) |
These promos have relatively little value, IMHO. Using that promo code simply gets you a higher rate than you can easily get otherwise IME, so what's the point?

Really!? At a FS Marriott I like, in my general area, you can get a room for $99 on this package. Free breakfast. So, a nice get away with my wife for "free" as I would get $100 bonus bucks cert. That's a pretty good deal to me. Yes, you could otherwise get a room for $79 or $89 but for $99 I get breakfast AND a hundo for next time! That's a deal to me! |

Thanks to the OP for posting. I wouldn't have noticed this & I've got some stays that it might work out for, so need to check. Cheers. |
For me, I was able to change a reservation at the SFO Airport marriott for $99 to this offer, which includes breakfast for two (which I will take full advantage of) plus a BB. I'd much prefer the buffer to the CL anytime.
And, this was for one night only. Probably mis-programmed, but hey, they'll honor it. It's even better when they don't have the BB's. I won't leave without one in hand, and push for a $100 credit instead. Works most of the time. You'd be surprised the number of times hotels try and tell me they don't have any BB's. No brainer. So, my mileage did vary. Billy |

I've tried the, "if you don't have BB's then credit my folio" - they refused and insisted they would mail them - which they did after two e-mails reminding them. Glad to hear someone's had success, hopefully that continues. |

If you can get them to apply the BB's immediately that's a great deal, otherwise, as posted previously, the BB's alone have zero value to many of us (EEO free night trumps $100 off in most cases)

So, NEITHER the promo itself NOR the bonus buck can be combined with the EEO? DTW Marriott has this for $69/night! I have noticed when using an EEO for a 2 night weekend stay, some hotels post 1 night, some post 2 and some post 3! |
You cannot combine a Bonus Buck with an EEO, but you can combine the promo room rate with an EEO.
