I've spent the past two month in Asia with stays in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand and the PA wins out on service over the other ten hotels.

My wife and I have a 6pm arrival into BKK. Can anybody tell me what the cocktail hours in the lounge are? (More importantly, will we have time to enjoy them when we get in?)

If you are landing at BKK at 6 PM, I don't think you'll make the happy hour which they stop serving complimentary alcoholic beverages at 8 PM. Soda, juices, coffee, etc. I believe are available until 9 PM.

More seriously, they have a pre-paid rate offering a 35% discount, where a standard room is coming out to 3442B/night, nett. I'm staying earlier in the month, and opted to grab a club room, also at a 35% discount.
